been really busy with college stuffs...
but trying to get the glimpse of this thread every day..nothing special on charts...will post it if i get to see something..

I'm not sure if you were referring to trading but I do something like this and it works good. I'm a student so I don't have (any) time to research trading. It started out as an experiment; I was having problems with editing my trades too much and turned winners into losers.

I decided to only let myself log in once a day right before the open of the next daily bar (4 PM Eastern). I then evaluate all bars for possible J16 setups. After I got used to this strategy I'd allow myself to check in every 4-8 hours to either do nothing or move my stop up.

With this strategy I must be very picky because I might not be around to move my stop to break even in time. I've been demoing this for about a year now and have 14 wins 4 losses in the past 3 months. (2 were quite silly losses that I took when I felt invincible). The longest I've gone without taking a trade was 2-weeks.

Don't know if anyone was interested, but I thought I'd share since I rarely spend more than 10 minutes a day on trading and am seeing some degree of success.

many times people here ask me why i always travel to india. i repeat: well if you in love with somebody, you like to be together with the person as often as possible, and the same goes for me with india. i just love the country, its people, the culture, the landscape, the food, everything...

anyways,something is cooking here...lets see how it closes..love the location and size of PB..as Jarroo stresses on it

nice ppz with s/r and fib. best would be to see this closing as an engulfing bar, but this very likely nit going to happen.

Ooops, sorry Mike. LOL

Yeah, thanks to my notes on Charles's Knife, I am learning to look at setups in the direction of the major trend and look at the retracements as areas to avoid CT, but wait for the opportunity to get in on the larger picture.

A lot of stuff is going on in my mind and, after revisiting different people's take on things, I am starting to see that while the tools they use may differ, they are all basically all based around the same thing. That being S&R and reversal signals with either PA, or other means which still encompass the PA and the S&R.

Little by little, the pieces are fitting together.

yep you are right on Steve. The concepts(there are quite a few) are generally the same, but might be tied in together in different ways.

You have simplified things quite a bit over time. Very important and continue to stay on that path my friend

I was watching this while my internet connection was out and, since I got the feed back it is interesting to see these areas still acting out their roles. These areas were found on the monthly TF.
