Anyone know of a good tool for MT4 to open/close multiple postions
or something which i can use to select multiple postions and close at the same time?

That's good. But the crux of this trick is the circle in which countries' CBs bail out banks, which take on bad credit of counties, which permit the countries to bail out the banks when the bad credits make them insolvent again.

The problem is, each cycle thus has not been destroying the credits contractually, so the load has increased monotonically while the distress has moved cyclically. Professional risk managers, particularly those on the credit side of things, saw this coming, and put the Basle accords in place. These have been, increasingly, conveniently suspended or amended "temporarily" as the stress becomes greater.

I was involved tangentially when OFHEO (Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight) insisted that stress tests be put in place for Fannie and Freddie. That latter howled the usual cries: "we can't afford the time to build those models" "our model might be different than their model and we'll look worse", blah blah.

So OFHEO went to Congress, got the funding, and commissioned the building of the stress test model system, right down to installable source code for Solaris machines.

They installed it, tested it, and it became evident what the results were going to show. So they stonewalled the software implementation, protested the assumptions, lobbied, forced the director to resign, and ultimately got OFHEO defanged and merged into the more compliant and permissive FHFA.

And the rest, as they say, is now history.

All the bad paper: mortgage, CLO, credit cards, sovereigns, is now coming to the point where it can't any longer be ignored.

Good post. Difficult to argue with that in the current circumstances. Market information is not lying.

However, don't forget one thing, is Europe and the amount of political capital invested probably exceed the actual market value of the euro. The multifaceted interrelations (from history, wars, social values, justice, trade, finance, etc) in Europe are so deep and complex that they tend to override market forces and lead to very unique social and economic mutations (e.g the EU or the CAP, etc [the list will take a few pages]) ....

So as an economist and a trader there is no fck way they can hide what is going on but if there is something than can stay irrational longer than the markets is the EU...

Hmm. This is surprising. The bonds are putting back on almost all of their impulse moves of the morning, and EUR, contrary to my assumption that it would go pleasantly to sleep curled comfortably around the 37 handle is not happening.

Oh, I agree absolutely. A couple weeks ago I called it the most important social and economic experiment in centuries. But ultimately, the irrationality depends upon both the acceptance and trust of the people of the various nationalities and states, and also the ability to sustain the purely financial illusions.

Those of you "on the ground" are far better positioned to gauge the state of, and movements of, the first. But everyone in the world can guage the state of the latter.

Nations have cross generational effects from traumatic events. The US Civil War is, for example, still referred to by many in parts of the south as simply "the war." I have often heard it said the great inflations in France and particularly in Germany informed monetary policy up at least to the time of the Union.

So the histories of Europe, from my vantage as an American, pose a great risk to that great experiment, should it come to the point where the illusion is transparent to most.

I was reading some view and reports form some sites
It's silly now they all call for 28 but there is big point buyers waiting it down there i guess when it hit and euro shoot high they will change the view then later when they changed it might go 28
I want to read some good damn it
If anyone know newspaper looking for real analysis let me know i really wish so
