Canada last one to join the party of sluggish economies. Real economy falling in pieces slow but steady across the world.

USD/CAD ready to trade above parity for the rest of the year and find the natural equilibrium in a low volatility range across parity ....

I shorted right at Asias high...3930-ish or so....had a tight SL...got S/O ...no biggie, except it was a the exact capitulation poin of the 145 pip south move....all good...3820 was my target for that one.....at least Im zeroing in on entry's

Well, better than Europe, US and Japan sure but that doesn't mean much in the current circumstances and they are too big to not get contagion and too "small" (in importance and in relation to other G7[8]) to lead.

Well the real economy is not looking good across the world. After the financial crisis/recession, monetary policy is exhausted across the CBs except in the US (QE3) and only because it has the monopoly of the world reserve printing machine.

Fiscal policy is also exhausted and Governments are running in huge unsustainable deficits and they need to start re-balancing and cutting cost (very negative for demand and growth short term) and the oxygen in the world economy in the last 3 years (the BRICS) are holding but won't hold a double dip in the rich world.

Finally financial markets are decoupling from the real economy and enjoying the rides on air and expectations of free money. Banks on the EZ (and across the Atlantic) are close to the abyss that will be the trigger for the real deal.

So yeap a very pessimistic outlook. However on the "positive" side, markets hasn't implode yet (hopefully is not only because of QE3 expectations), meaning there is a glimmer of hope that a double dip is avoided and we stay in a sluggish performance for the next 2 or 3 quarters. We need at least some consecutive average macro numbers to start believing.
