Yeah...I guess it works well for me. Hit it hard...cash some quick...break even on the rest if it turns, but hopefully it runs. Few more partials along the way....totals at the end of the day seem to say it works for me.

Most important thing is I'm very comfortable with it these days. Not full on scalping. Hit-pull some-and run...that's my game, I suppose.
yea i wouldn't call it scalping really I guess, especially by true definition

so you go in and then scale out on the position letting some run and if not cut out at BE? do you have a calculated thing for the scaling or you're just going by PA at the s/r levels?

Yeah...I have my own funky little program. I can set up to 6 predetermined TP levels...and what percentage to close at each of those. More often than not, on the EU pair, I just use three levels...11, 16, 21...so I basically walk with 10, 15 and 20 after spread. 20% comes out at +10...30% at +15, 30% at +20. Final 20% floats. That would be a very general setup, but it is really fast for me to change that...either pips, or percentage. I have loads of presets and it literally takes one click to change.

Can also do manual partial closes, too...or close the whole trade...or all trades with one click. What else? Can assign different profiles to every trade, too...so they don't all have to follow the same pip/% scheme.

Ultimately, I guess THAT is my "edge" so to speak.

nice... I like the idea of it..

I have some stuff I meant to post up for people to mess around with, but didn't ever get around to it once the thread took off. Just a spreadsheet for tweaking pip values and percentages. Handy for tweaking different pairs. 10, 15, 20 wouldn't work well across the board. A heavily tweaked indy I've cooked up, too. Just sets a lot of levels that I follow automatically at the first new tick of a day. Rarely see it on charts I post.

Will try and do it this weekend.
