They are stopping one step short of pegging, they "just" set a target, they will need loads of FED swaps to keep this one up though.

The SNB on its own cannot defend the 1.20, they will need loads of swaps to maintain 1.20. As long as the EU is still a race between 2 ugly sisters, there will still be loads of money going into the CHF.

I for one will not trade the CHF, but do not expect 1.20 to hold for long unless they mechanically peg it, that will be a step I still cannot see the SNB taking.

What is the alternative to the CHF? Gold, dollar and T. Keep an eye on T and see where the money ends up for now.

Intermediate play here on EU, I will not sell it yet, there is still more rebalancing going on, keep an eye on 4162, I for one expect another slow test of the high. 4162 needs to hold for that to happen, if it gives then the market pretty much accepts that 1.20 is not going to hold on Ec and EU is looking for a target closer to 1.41, probability of that happening is a lot less then another test of the high.
