Great thread ! I'm beginning to see the value of the supply/demand zones, much better than trading off of support and resistance.

Support and Ressitance should be the place where is supply/demand in imbalece in other words where is either more buyers than sellers or where is more sellers than buyers. You are still looking for S/R but now you are using the S/R used by institutions not the one "conventional" which all "clever" books taught you.

ALL MARKETS on the world are driven by the force called supply and demand. It is the most basic concept of economy. It is your one and only GOAL to identify where supply and demand is - not only in speculative trading also in businesses. Almost everywhere you want to make money.


In my opinion, it is not correct to say that you were trading trading S/R and you moved on to supply demand. You are just using the "better/more accurate" way of identifying supply and demand

Support = "The price level which, historically, a stock has had difficulty falling below. It is thought of as the level at which a lot of buyers tend to enter the stock.!"= the place where is more buyers than seller or where the price is too cheap or where is more demand than supply.

Ressistance = "The price at which a stock or market can trade, but not exceed, for a certain period of time." = ... or ... or ... !

Hi, I started this thread to try and teach you my concept of Supply/Demand. What you see me doing here I do on a dailey basis with a very high degree of success in the Forex Futures. I trade with the Institutions.

I'm trying to pull as many New Traders into my thread who might be using lagging indicators. I'm trying to do this without being listed under the "Trading System" thread, I simpley would have no time for that, having a 11 and 13 year old at home and running a thread and trading live and sleeping 5 hours a day, it would be challenging, at least until school starts.

But, I want to teach new traders that institutions do not use lagging indicators simpley because in the long run they do not work, you will lose money. Lagging indicators will get you into a trade late therefore reducing your probability of making a successful trade.

I welcome anyone who disagrees with me on this. Simple start posting your live trading charts AS SOON AS YOU MAKE the trade, which will take you 30 seconds, and that's every single trade, and feel free to do it on my thread. The reason I ask this is because I see New Traders in certain threads trying to learn a trading system that will not work. So a year from now if they follow these threads I guarentee they will be in the same position that they are in today.

Let me ask you this, Would you get on board a jet and be greeted by a pilot who says to you "welcome, join the other passengers on my jet, I just finished my class room training on how to fly, it's all theory but I heard that it will work, lets see if it really does. Would you stay on that plane without having any proof that he can fly...I Don't Think So!...

Well, that's what you are doing in these threads. You'll put your hard earned money up in the market when you are ready to go live, even though you have absolutley no proof that it works, because you haven't seen the proof from the Heavy hitters who say it does, who claim that their wheel barrow it getting bigger every week, but are not showing you their live trading charts on every trade they make as soon as they make them.

If you just like the entertainment of being in these threads then that's fine, but if you seriously plan on trading for a living then I would recommend learning to trade like an institution.

I'm sorry if I have offended some viewers (Lou) but the fact are the facts, 98% of all traders use lagging indicators, 98% of all traders lose money.

For those of you who are still with me I thank you. I ask you to referr others to this thread and let's start showing traders how to make a living trading the forex market with a very high degree of accuracy.

I think you have me mixed up with someone else.
I am certainly not offended by anything you have said. I have not used lagging indicators as trading signals for many years, I have met Sam Seiden, and seen him give presentations. Your thread appears to be the best one at using his concepts on FFF. My reaction was to the person who seemed to want you to make up for his losses

When it comes to time, I have the opposite problem you have. When school starts I cannot actively trade intra day, and I can't live on 5 hrs of sleep.

I want to work on that shift from S/R toward S/D . Not so much a shift as a slide as described by Salda. Plus now having to go to higher time frames 4hr and daily this may take some time.

can i just check that the fib levels you're using is as below?

0.382 = 68
1.127 = 127
1.618 = 618
1.987 = 987
3.1597 = 1597
