confirmed...

Well, it was always going to be a close one, but the 1.4200 barrier in EUR/USD has been duly eliminated, having traded at the figure level enough times to render the DNT structure eliminated. There were size bids at the figure level, with the Asian name in question 'sitting there' in size. Defensive buying was unsuccessful though, but they still have ongoing interest to sell out their USD's. Spot pushing higher now though, as the 'eliminating names' take back their sales, but with stocks deep in the red, the heavy tone is set to continue through to the end of Europe at the very least.
