DislikedThere are a few things like that in the world of Microsoft. TAPI is one. Apparently there are like six guys who really understand TAPI, one of which works for MSFT, and the other five sell four figure libraries of TAPI functionality, and nobody, including MSFT, is willing to provide any decent documentation or examples on how to build anything useful using the API or the core objects.
Apparently the system kernel is full of undocumented ways of doing things which have no API callable equivalents, too. That way, the house can keep the edge in...Ignored

DislikedAnd that is why I've always chewed on Apples...and why I'm going to feel the hurt of recent events for a long time to come...I'm sure. SJ was the first "rock star" of innovation. BG...sure...impressive...but never going to match up. $$$ over innovation for Billy Gates. Innovation first for SJ. May sound like cheese...but trace back enough...truth.
Ran out of stem on that sentence...pressing send!Ignored
DislikedIs cool, brother... Just have to be creative.
I did go too far on the last one. Surely anyone who couldn't actually touch that double bottom...or had NO desire to do so...was going to have a problem with it/them.

DislikedThe $$$ is more prevalent in M$ more now than ever.
They absorb as many products as they possibly can, no innovation, just absorption. A low amount of products make it through, and the rest end up scrapped... lately most noted Zune.
And, because I am a web developer, IE of all versions needs to die. And Bing (Decision engine my arse, its a keyword search engine that still doesn't match up to big G).Ignored
DislikedWhat do you think of Opera, professionally? I started to use it because (a) IE is a PoS, and (b) Firefox seems to get Trojans and redirects regardless of how well you "think" you're protected.
But nobody tests against Opera, apparently. For example, the USPS site, where you can buy Express Mail and Priority and the like and print out the labels. Well, on IE or FFox, yeah. On Opera, I learned the hard way one day, all it does is credit your account for the postage and not give you any labels to print.Ignored
DislikedSame results here as well on the testing side of things.
Currently, it hasn't been added to my list of browsers. I currently check against IE, FF, Safari, Chrome and the various versions.
Actually, had pretty much forgotten about the browser until you just mentioned it. Think i'll pop down a copy of it to my Ubuntu install and see how she runs.Ignored

DislikedBing...
Enter into your fave search engine..."How badly does Bing suck A$$"...and I can assure you...I entered at least 95% of queries. What a horrible waste of resources...fakking useless!
In my "other" lives...Apple has always won the day. Their OSes just work smoothly with me, and then when they can't...they step out...but un-apologetically so. MS? Yeah right. Closest they've come to having an OS was when Apple shook hands w/Intel. Closest! Still not quite there.Ignored
Dislikedlast db was a beauty though....
you have no idea if i'm talking about the chart or the picture, eh?Ignored
DislikedSorry...sure you've heard this one before, but...
Are you talkin' to me? Are YOU..talkin' to me?
Chart...picture...one and the same for me, mate. I don't stare at them all day unless I know what I'm looking for/at. Once formed...
