I did go too far on the last one. Surely anyone who couldn't actually touch that double bottom...or had NO desire to do so...was going to have a problem with it/them.

The $$$ is more prevalent in M$ more now than ever.

They absorb as many products as they possibly can, no innovation, just absorption. A low amount of products make it through, and the rest end up scrapped... lately most noted Zune. Windows 7 sure looks really familiar as well, very Mac'ish.

And, because I am a web developer, IE of all versions needs to die. And Bing (Decision engine my arse, its a keyword search engine that still doesn't match up to big G).

What do you think of Opera, professionally? I started to use it because (a) IE is a PoS, and (b) Firefox seems to get Trojans and redirects regardless of how well you "think" you're protected.

But nobody tests against Opera, apparently. For example, the USPS site, where you can buy Express Mail and Priority and the like and print out the labels. Well, on IE or FFox, yeah. On Opera, I learned the hard way one day, all it does is credit your account for the postage and not give you any labels to print.

Currently, it hasn't been added to my list of browsers. I currently check against IE, FF, Safari, Chrome and the various versions.

Actually, had pretty much forgotten about the browser until you just mentioned it. Think i'll pop down a copy of it to my Ubuntu install and see how she runs.

Would have to say, Chrome is currently my browser of choice. FF still has some memory leak issues with it (granted, I open a lot of windows at once), but it gets old having it lock up, then when trying to restart it, notified that firefox is currently running, needing me to manually kill the process before restart.

Absolutely enjoying the speediness of chrome. Lightweight, quick loading. Developer Tools. All I need.

I like it. It's based in Norway. You can actually check the Opera cafateria's menu on their "Speed Dial" portal page; they're that kind of company. Still somewhat big in Europe, I believe, and their founders are well known and respected for some innovations in your line of work, the nature of which escapes me.

I used it years ago, when it was, rightly, billed as "the fastest browser on earth." So when I'd had it with FFox infections, and not trusting Google to not phone home my shoe size as soon as Chrome found out what it was, I couldn't think of anywhere else to turn.

Enter into your fave search engine..."How badly does Bing suck A$$"...and I can assure you...I entered at least 95% of queries. What a horrible waste of resources...fakking useless!
