Well TA, daily chart is still pointing up until today at least.

I find the ECB a lot more coherent, consistent and credibly than the FED lately (last 3 years) and the thing for this week(s) is that the dovish Trichet tone can have more leverage than the FED comments.

Each week we have 2 or 3 FED members with contradictory comments with their decisions and to make things even worse the week after they contradict between themselves too ...so until NFP or US number start picking up I give more importance to the ECB.

We'll see but fog in the range is still very thick to both sides.

The biggest problem with the FED is the politics, all the individual presidents play politics to vie for the big job. The ECB is a lot more focused on its primary goal and don't have to worry about a dual mandate either.

even from TA perspective, we had our release of compressed air. 4H TF turning UP.. we see how NYSE digest the EVANS comments, but apart from him, [as trigger] today also 2 reports [calls] on gold with affirming $1950 by the end of the month [UBS] and $2500 by end of the year [JPM] are doing their role in today's breakout..

Now as i see the charts.. [turned my screen upside] and next target at 4500, then we'll see

Agree Cloggie, the FED has become too politicized since the financial crisis which is not good. While the ECB is definitively keeping its role as CB but the EZ political problems offset most of the ECB efforts too.... so at the end, the 2 ugly sister showing their ugliest outfits in both sides of the Atlantic....

4Hr Ma's are bullish for me and new 4Hr for me in 8mins

Bit of resistance here at 443x on 8Hr but if pushes through, more up

Gotta get back to work. Hopefully next 8Hr bar will be tradeable for me in 3hrs
