im having 2 levels..

this one 4380 as a fib33 of last h/l
and the 4310 zone..[4330-4310], which a daily close below, opens some new horizons

Here's what I have for tonite. 4460 (stupid thing better do this one, LOL). Below that 4345 if it wants to, it can....

So while we are about 50-60 pips to there, H1 is bottomed pretty much already. H4 has a little ways, not much... hence the 4345. If all these play out, we should at least get a pull back at the end of it all. If it plays the same as the last several days, then TY sells, London buys, NY heck knows what NY does....

I had 4290, But I just ain't altogether positive yet...

That was worked out on daily movement and R levels...

And yeah, I am open to a few new horizons....Gawd this fucking range has been played to death!!

we have got the weekly and the monthly roll below.. have not looked at many charts but 4350 seems reasonable and it opens up targets below.

although I have no very large risky significant whatever you name it new numbers until 4292

A number of firms bought into them, largely because they were (a) pretty fast, and (b) had a wonderful OO development environment for C++, which was the thing at the time. Lotus came out with their high level macro language, LPL. The Next guys went to it like ducks to water, calling C++ libraries from LPL, building the interfaces in Lotus.

Some management guys weren't so sure. They said, MSFT is targeting Lotus, and they're going to get squeezed. Better be damn sure Lotus is going to support that language and functionality going forward. Yeah, yeah, of course we will.

You can guess what happened. LPL went away in the very next version, Lotus itself followed quickly, and the projects were set back badly or bacame dead in the water. Then Next became Last.

It was just another incident that, with all the other incidents, makes, to the present day, the trading lines in both sell- and buy- side firms really try to avoid the IT fiefdoms any way and any time they can.

it was not planned, but they are the standard deviations above a certain threshold for the hourly or daily closes (i do not remember). once I had the charts that I showed you, I was not sure what to do with them exactly, so thats what I did and the levels lined up so nicely... that I decided to keep them for a few days and see .

I am not sure what they would measure.. (risk I guess) I just want some sort of reaction at them. big moves, wtf moments, etc.

So you mean, e.g., you calculate the stdev of all prices in your sample greater than a given price? So then, say you do level 4402. Then next you do 4403. So those two have all the same values entering the calculation except those between 4402 and 4403?

no.. I have a timestamp, price level and the closing price for an hourly bar.

I calculated the stdev on the daily, but based on the hourly data, because one thing that I realized is that the stdev will be the highest at the top and the bottom by just using the daily close. therefore it will look similar to the e/u chart.

after that, I looked at the new stdev chart and filtered out abnormalities, and the levels were just corresponding them. it was really the first thing that popped in my mind.

i will be back in 15min or so
