Hello traders!

I've got a question here, i've been playing with pb/dbhlc,dblhc,ob and ib quite successfully now ( imho anyway ); so..here's my question and i'm sorry if this has been answered or mentioned before, i noticed james mentioning about trading matching highs and matching lows on few posts from the start of this thread, from charts that i've been looking at so far, it just look's like trading inside bars.

Is my observation correct? Or maybe i need to get glasses

Good Morning All,
Thought I would post these, I know the Eurusd wasn't an amazing setup with tonnes of confluence, but it was a very low risk entry on the daily chart. 15 Pips would have been enough on the close of the I4B. 15 Pips for 150 Pip move so far, not bad R:R, eh Adi?

Also there was a nice 4hr PB on GOLD which I took on demo that so far has gone where it should.

Going against gold is tough with this monster trend. Look for longs.

Soon everybody and their grandma's will be long gold. I somehow doubt we will hit 2000 before stronger squeze to downside.

I gotta say with gold lot of people did not think 1500 was possible then 1700, then 1800 and so forth. At this point the only motto i follow is go with the trend.

I am with you on that Razor and i am not trying to pick long-term top there ... i believe that psychologicaly it will be hard for this kind of market to hit 2000 without taking major profits before.

Hey Mdafif

The difference b/w trading an inside bar is that with matching highs/lows we have a different piece of information to add to the arsenal(that an exact level is holding). Matching highs/lows is some of my favorite breakout plays to make.

So for a TBH we want to have two exact matching highs. TBL , two exact matching lows. Then we can have multiple highs and lows and things can get even better in my view

Let me know if that makes sense

i dont drop into less than H4 TF..but while flipping thru TFs n i js saw these clear breakout pattern with DBLHC..it hit the point where it shuld(1.43).

a fine example of a breakout.

ah yes, i came to that train of thought too, but was unsure, i just felt the trade was done similarly to an inside bar ( breakout ), albeit there are a few differences, but a breakout nontheless. I just used the same way of thinking to understand TBH/TBL

Hi Nwo-trader,

Yeah, RR looks good on those. Did you trade them? Probably not. And you know most of the Pbs and BOUOBs that we see on past price action have a wonderful RR. But, that is totally different when it comes to REAL time trading, because a lot matters on HOW you manage it... and if you don't have a FIXED RR you will NEVER make as much as it LOOKS on history chart.

I'm not being a smart ass, just trying to be honest with you and myself.

Forget the TF. What point do you enter? I believe I saw in one of the videos, Mike said, it breaks out comes back to support (previous resistance), forms PA there. There we enter. What do you think?

Nice. Notice also that the touches to your marked resistance were increasing just before the breakout.
