Great thinker for me here. My first was a time machine..lol
if A = anything
(can't make something that's truly impossible, but ok.. there's 'could do')

then A2 = nothing
(if not, the 'impossible' condition in Q isn't true => it's possible)

anyways, a nice hint on how to start thinking about the realm of 'impossible' ..is it for real or is it just me?!

Doing the frontal lobotomy would do the opposite. It would make u unable to stop expressing and controlling your emotions. Frontal lobe is the supervisor and inhibitor over the emotions...once you remove the access to it you will become the worst trader ever.

I suspect that an EA would be a less traumatic, less painful, and – possibly – less expensive, solution.

Of course that's assuming it would be possible to reduce all of your thought processes into a concise mathematical formula...... but then the OP's question was "What would be impossible to do, but if you could, ......"

What I like about this exercise is that you find a solution to what seems impossible. and the solution have big potential to move you forward as great ideas could seem impossible . can you imagine what those people who planned to land on the moon in the late 60's with technology only as advanced as a calculator had to go through to convince the right people with "this is possible" attitude?

and like some of you said , its a great mind-exercise

1. A team of people more dedicated and with the same (or more) market experience who managed to work together. The team would be one or two statistician and a couple of engineers/programmers and enough capital for 1 year to run the team.

2. Money and one hell of a head-hunter.

Insight, patience and the ability to root out the answers yourself.
The road to pipland is arduous and fraught with challenge.

Question 1, being able to perfectly predict the markets.

Question 2, has something to do with selling your soul to the "Dark Side"
