Why closing price is not the same as opening price? 1 reply
Disliked(wishfull thinking LOL)
in the MSBT in GU.
we didn't quite touch the lower band for a pip or so. and i had a "retry" down that looked scary (almost took my SL positioned below last low).
let's see what it brings.Ignored
DislikedWell done on that GU trade WBR. By the time price reached the lower line the band looked too flat and scary for me - never thought it could reach the top band so easily.Ignored
Dislikedall long.
my GU is (of PD system) is still running. sl at be currently aprox. 30 pips. thinking of closing it. while others shoot up GU doesn't seem as convinced of going up. will wait a retest of the high to make the decision.Ignored
DislikedDean,
Would appreciate it if you could comment on this MSBT trade please. Was the band striking enough to warrant a long entry? Of all the entry types, I find this one the least comfortable. By the time price reaches the lower band it has fallen considerably and the band is often pretty flat. I just couldn't see price hitting the upper band from here...but it did.
I considered entering after the DB was put in but the top band was too close by then.
ThanksIgnored
DislikedWell done. Why did I ever doubt your superior analysis!
Was it only GU from the PD system?Ignored

DislikedHi everyone... sorry for the absence I was in a tourney..
sutts,
this is where you got see the pure price action with your tools..
that PB is a normal one considering the 95pips swing prior to it.. and on top of it you got a bounce off from your tool (tma lower band).. so the trade falls as a solid SBT where the risk for is around 20 pips which is pretty normal.
so if you get a flat band with a prior look of striking than you got yourself a favorable band for the long.. so its good to go.Ignored
DislikedSHOW CHARTS PLEASE..
post about so and so trade without a chart is useless.. i have mentioned this several times i think.

Dislikedmy view is the rules here are too strick. but anyway those are the rules and i have to respect them. since i don't want to (my verbal explanations are good enough IMHO for most here and i do like to occasionally speak about other aspects of the market that i believe are relevant to the discretionary part of any system), i have to be getting on my way as i don't want to be an obstacle to the great work you have been doing.
i do like your system and will be trading it. if you don't mind i will be silently peaking here now and then.
somehow i do...Ignored
