The rainbow chart is actually pretty easy to understand. In the one below, representing yesterday, when you see all the green disappear, and all the trixes flip together - go short. When you see a double rainblow flip to the green side after mixed colors, three trixes crossing together and all green look for an awesome trade. The reason is that the
only time you see the rainbow look like this is when there is a breakout after consolidation. If you check the 5 m chart you will see that both those trades are where the 5 m consoladation breakout traders would be entering. Sometimes you get a little better entry on the 5 m but most of the time you get the better entry on the 1 m chart

Its true you can learn to read the price action from bars alone. For me though, its partly psychological - seeing all that green helps me remember never to short that sucker when it looks like that.
Here it is on the 5 m chart - but whereas a five m trader might be tempted to short the resistance there at the green line a 1 m rainbow trader would NEVER short anything that looked like the rainbow and trixes look at the green line on the chart.
And here's today (I didnt trade this - my rules prohibit trades 30m before news, but it was a good one). Again, same principles for those to whom the chart is not clear -

All three trixes crossed down ( in some cases the m1 can have the fast trix in favor of the trade if the angle is right i.e. theslow trix is not too steeply against the trade - TAH's famous 'wishbone' look in the making.)
Chart all red.

with a chart like this you have no choice but, to be confused, I WOULD BE
did you know you can make a living trading with candle sticks and the 20 MA
nothing ells needed, use the 5min or 15 min chart
but you have to study a little the PA and candlesticks

( 1/2 o'clock) and (4/5 o'clock) are not programmable . I might be able to use an angle instead. What angle would those be? BTW are the newer versions still slowing down your computer?
- 1 o'clock is 30 degrees
- 2 o'clock is 60 degrees
- 4 o'clock is 120 degrees
- 5 o'clock is 150 degrees
My computer is not liking your SAH lol.
I've had to ring my broker to see if they could change any settings to maximise my MT4 performance but nadda. I was able to use the earlier version but even that is really slow today so now I'm looking at my internet provider- because when I do my backtests over the weekend I don't seem to suffer from a slow computer. So I'll test over the weekend with both SAHs and see if my computer is still slow.

Thanks for the answer, is there a version available which doesnt repaint the arrows? I would look into it myself, but there is no source available
What I've found is that the repainting is on rare occasions and usually when there's a spike. Unfortunately if you are relying on the divergence arrows to make an entry, you may miss a good portion of the trend as the arrows appear 1 or 2 candles late.

It can be easy sometimes. But you have to have discipline and thats about THV.
Wait for the right moment. And the right leverage. Or amount of cash
