Good week in terms of money management, letting trades run to TP/SL, etc., just couldn't pull it together with the trades.

This week's trades are posted below. No regrets, I thought I had picked quality trades. Shorting E/J was the only incorrect call, the other two trades went where I expected...unfortunately, one close stopout (1.5p) and I assume of a stop run by bigger players (UJ) didn't allow for profits.

First trade of the week EJ short. First attempt was stopped out, second went to 1% (R1) but was stopped out at breakeven.

Second trade of the week was UJ. Nice call on direction but I can't say much for how price surged through levels before dumping to well past my TP. Ah well, some times they fail

Lastly, GBP/CHF. First short attempt was stopped out by 1.5pips, ah well. Second one ran to TP.

Cheers

Ending the week +3.5%

Should have been a 5%+ week for me but I still can't follow my own <insert expletive> trade plan & hold for TP.

Excellent week in terms of market calls, money management and I will give myself some credit for holding trades (two trades held for nearly 200pts each). However, as profits increased, my risk aversion increased as well.

I'm taking a hiatus from weekly updates for the rest of May in an effort to turn this ship around.

Have a good weekend

Ending May at +3.2%

I'm unsure if I'll continue with my weekly updates at this time.

Over the last few weeks, I've placed variable risk (.5 to 3%) vs my standard .5% or 1% per trade, depending on the perceived strength of said level.

In control, yes. More risks than usual, yes (3% in this case) yet it was part of my game plan going into the trade.

We'll see. Going from 1% up to 3% risk has been tough on the mental.
