DislikedK, if you want; no offense, but post an image of the trade you just did and where you got in... there's something a miss why your trade went wrong.

if you used the i-macd, there is no divergence
if you used the ichimoku, there was no reason to go long. all signs to stay short
if you used the momentum, there was no divergence
if you used the stoch oscil' there was no reason to go long.
i could go on and on all day long for reasons why not to long this trade..

DislikedIve been in this game for over a decade now.
if you're not pulling out a minimum of 750 pips a week, something is wrong with your trading style. I'm already up over a 1000 pips already this week and we still have 2 days trading left.
....
BTW, do you know how the Market Markers work? Do you know any guys who've traded on the trading floor who know how to take out your long and short positions then mess with your mind to make you go the other way, then stop you out, mess with your head even more so you reverse your position in hopes to get...Ignored
DislikedYes had that experience and quite sick of it and would be more than happy to be making 750 a week! Happy to hear about any insights you have gleaned that youre willing to offer to point us in the right direction!
Ive had 3 years learning and thought it would be enough by now but obviously a lot still to go. I was on the way to doing numbers like that this week until the fucking SCB pulled the rug out from everyone...Ignored
DislikedYou see, its not you that is making the mistakes. FX can get you to a point where you feel so stupid that there must be something wrong with you and your ability to trade well.
....
one needs to gear their mind to trade like a Market Maker, that's where the money is
....
first goal is to get rid of that emotional feeling of trading.

DislikedYes feeling like that stupid oaf right about now...! Of course I'll feel like gun trader after a couple of wins. I know i should be past that emotional rollercoaster by now but its still affecting me from time to time...Ignored
DislikedKinda hard to learn to think like a market maker if you dont know how they think beyond principles like S/R, round numbers/psych levels etc... And if you signed an NDA then that makes it even harder to find out!! ARRGHH!!Ignored
DislikedThere is one guy who might be able to help, he never helped me though, the guys who helped me are much better than this guy: Martin Cole... google him![]()
