I used to trade with Saxo Bank and I would not recommend it for someone who doesn't have a lot of trading experience. They offer so many different instruments that it is easy to get lost if you don't know exactly what you are doing - besides the charting on saxotrader is really crap in my opinion.
I'm not saying the Saxo Bank is a bad broker ... if they offered a decent 3rd party platform I would probably still be trading with them.
If I were you I would start out with a MT4 broker.
based on your feedback I started an MT4 account with FXCM, $2,000 minimum which is about 8 grand less than Saxo. Perfect. thanks!

So far so good, pretty simple and intuitive interface.

So far I have tried Alpari UK and I am currently with FX Open

Anythoughts! Current is Demo, I have not gone live yet until I can manage to triple my current demo account.

FX Open dose offer an ECN account, I heard they are better and dont place trades against you?

Any thoughts!

Do you know any ECN broker that uses it; I almost opened an acc. at Smarttradefx; they looked perfect but after reading about them on this site I changed my mind.

best way to go about this is to have big money trading with one of the big LP and ask them if you can trade on that platform and they should set you up, it might take any where form 250k to over 1mill to get that kind of service

Hello Sheraz. Well buddy I am also from Pakistan. I had a very bad experience regarding international transactions in Pakistan. The policies of SBP suck regarding foreign currency accounts. Thats why most Pakistani traders have to open their accounts with Local Brokers who usually offer some Futures Currencies, Crude Oil, Silver, Gold, Wheat, Mini SP500 etc. But there are no online executions. Order is placed via phone or web messengers. Surviving with 500$ account without proper money/risk management is very difficult. You can get info about brokers at http://www.forexpeacearmy.com

My friend from Pakistan is trading with CIty Credit Capital UK. So far, he has no bad experience with them.. Because in CC Capital the minimum amount to start trading is 1000$ therefore he suggests me to start trading with One Financial Markets UK.. What are your views about One Financial Markets UK?

I would say so. Definetly a step up from placing manual orders . IBFX is MM and their spreads are not the best, but they offset this with nano lots, easy deposit and withdraw methods, and platform stability. They are worth a look, and I think their AU division is a good fit for your situation.

Their withdrawals from uk division is slow (2 business days to process) +1-2 biz days to receive. It could have changed and got quicker now. This was over a year ago.

I have not tested both. Before jumping in the real trade with a broker test it with demo account at least 1 month. Currencies & Items available, Spread (in different volatility conditions), Execution Time, Order Types, Transaction Costs, Lagging of Platform during Specific Conditions, Requot etc. should be taken under serious consideration before going into real Forex Combat. I am trading as Fund Manager with a local Pakistani forex broker.

I am also from Pakistan and if you are beginner in forex market .please try eToro for that with Minimum investment ..what kind of help you need is available on FF and other links .and for international transections you can use here international bank Standard Charterd bank card 4213 VISA Card which is world wide acceptable .or Western Union ..
