Constraintment setup occuring now at AUDUSD 15M at 10EMA

-Steep 35/50
-Direction confirmation from H1 35/50 and D1 35/50.....
-Exhaustion bars forming for more than 3 bars. (5th exhaustion bar now as I speak)

It looks like text book stuff

Just took this trade on EU 35 touch. The MAs are diverging but there is confluence with H1 10 touch. Will have tight SL.

Thanks for sharing but I don't think this will qualify as by the rule touch, because:

-It took too many bars to get there
-it broke the 15 pip rule
-The 10 EMA is scooping it down

This is my 1 pip worth, all the best in this trade! Maybe the confluence with 10EMA H1 will add some rocket fuel into it.

Thanks, Bin. Good info. Sorry, I realize I broke the rule about posting after the trade, too.

It hesitated so I closed at BE - I didn't lose money! But I improved myself by making a good entry.

Will wait for a better setup.

This is my second constrainment trade that work, I am satisfied. I got out near the RN for 18 pips. However I have to mention that the trade went against me at forst for about 10 pips. I had a 12 pip SL.

Nice trade! I saw your first post but I didn't want to take it because the bars looked a little too big for me. Also AU is testing all-time high for the second time.

A constraintment occuring at EU 15M on 35 MA. If this bar turns out to be an exhaustion bar I will enter at the close.

-Steep 35MA, though not parallel
-Direction confirmation from 35/50 MA from H1
-2 exhaustion bars that is progresively heading towards the right direction has formed.

Update: The 2nd exhaustion bar looks too big to be one....... Will see how the third bar is like when it closes.
Update2: I did not enter because of the second exhaustion bar. It probably is an exhaustion bar but I am unsure...... I will be watching.

I'm watching that, too. It's kind of a long touch of 35, too. The 35/50 diverged is a little concerning, but the pa is strong. Here I'll post the chart.

It will definitely be a trade that won't work out if I entered. I hope someone can comment on this failed trade. As Alien said, 35/50 was diverging. The pip difference between 35 and 50 is also a staggering 23 pips which probably indicate a weakening of the trend direction.

Also:
Candles were long, not short
5 and 10 MAs were not steep (although they could have turned upward)

I didn't take it.

But check H1 now that the last candle closed. This is a new possible constrainment setup.
The 35/50 are together and rising nicely.
The current candle just started.
Resistance at RN 1.4500 beware

If this new candle stays small for about 45 minutes, then dips to touch the 10EMA, this could be a good long entry. SL would be at low of previous candle, about 1.4466.

This one has a good change to be a nice Constrainment trade for at least +20p. Target could be something between RN 1.4500 and Daily R1 1.4511.

I just entered EU long on H1 constrainment. I'm at work and can't watch the trade all day. So I'm going to play safe and set TP just below the 1.450 RN. If it breaks through, though, Haydel you are right probably good for 20 pips. SL set to 5.5pips.

Whoa! Already stopped me out. That was quick! But I stuck to my plan that's the main thing. I will not be re-entering long. I don't think it's a constrainment any more after that drop, unless it turns back up immediately and stays up.

I got Stopped Out too just below Daily R2, -12p

I think that happend because trend is not strong enough yet. At least you can see that on D1.

If H1 closes bellow Daily R2, price may fall to touch 35/50.

In USDJPY H1 there is a constrainment forming under 10EMA.

35/50 MA for H1, H4, D1 timeframe is steep except for 15M.

The constrainment is to the short side.

I`m not an expert, but Constrainment trades are very reliable even for second entries. But everything needs to be at itīs place.

We do not have to complicate things. Survivor got it right and explained very well. Please take a look at the following post where I highlighted two Survivor posts that I find extremely useful for profitable H1 Constrainments trades.

That is what we are looking for. If anyone sees a setup that looks VERY close to that, make a call.

I didn't take this trade because I was away but the market would have gone +20pips after 2 hours. I am getting it about identifying and trading constrainments thanks to some generous people in this thread.

I have been looking at constrainments for 1 year data, I think Haydel made the right point about the reliability of constrainment... Another tool added to the trade.
