i think the AUD est currencys now is on off the easiest currencys to trade now as its swap interset drives the money flow

buying the dip is an excellent method particularly on strong trends

i use the monthly fib to keep me in the trend

buying the dip at support and resistance points helps i use the usdjpy overlay and the lsma 1 time frame for scalping

no right or wrong way to trade but i find the info on here very informative thank you

testing of prev high, we need push through and a close above marked rectangle to confirm forming uptrend on daily again imho...

big shit to count swing highs n lows here, anyway would like to see some significant h4 candles at supply in red for some correction before continuig upwards.

my levels on the hourly, 093x area will be choppy to the upside imho.

anyway Vennd is the guy to ask about audusd, thats my heads up

ok guys, one for the fundies!

If Obama can't negotiate a plan to raise the debt ceiling in the US, what impact does this have on the AUD/USD?
I normally would say that any negative impact on the economy (this large) would see a rush out of risk currency (AUD) and into safer currency (USD).
However since its the US that is the problem defaulting on their debt, where do the buyers go, AUD or USD?

AUD @1.0845

Already we have had some risk on and off appetite with Gold at 1622 ish high.
It going to be one of those days where eyes will be glued to the newswires about US Debt.
If you dont have live news then you will be flying blind.
Anyway I cant see US defaulting just yet..LOL.. Lots of politicking going on here..They have to look like they are getting paid for doing something.

Buying int @1.0800-10 sellers at 1.0890-00
Anything else in the middle is fair game.

The usual pattern thats been seen is whatever early morning Sydney and Asia do on mondays..the opposite will occur for the rest of the week.
I wonder if this will continue or have I just put the kiss of death on it?

Fundamentally, There're nothing wrong when I connected your technical indications with the real money going on in AU... The downs is there but limited .... somehow I just imagined .... that are due to US Debt Ceiling Talks between Democrats and Republican has no resolution yet. Might drag until the due date on 02nd August.

Besides that .... Aust's PPI ...

YoY = +2.9% ---> +3.4% (Increase - Buy AU)
QoQ = +1.2% ---> +0.8% (Decrease - Sell AU)

My resolution is ... Long - Hold , until any further development ... or scalp short .... if u may wish... Idealy ... just ride the waves where ever it goes..

Sorry Brian .... I don't use template.... Only fibo and Trendlines/Channels... and if Im confuse between Fundies and Technicals.... I throw both of them away .... and read PA base on the naked chart / candles .... what it ask me to do... Forget about that pictures in those chart.... its fun drawing something in it while waiting PA to show its colours.

I'm newbie on fx. lost some bucks while trying to see the signal. it was @ 796 as you said upwards..

according to eye it's very annoying to lose money .
