Price has to reach and close higher then your last buy to open another buy.

Loving this ea... Would like to see the following added if steve has time to the original ea in post 1.

Show pofit at last High highs and low lows if ( this will help me optimize tp fof different pairs and timeframes)
number of open buys
number of open sells
after 50% of margin gets used lower profit target to $x
or few inputs for x% of margin used lower profit to $x

ie. margin used 50% tp=10
margin used 80% tp=5
90% used tp=1

My backtest result for this ea in time frame 15m make profit.
But when i trade live, ea cannot open trade.
I saw got 3 column in this ea 1. open trade 2. close all trade 3. stop the robot. It is need to click the column 1 to make this ea work and open trade? Any setting need to adjust for make this EA work?
Thanks.

how's daily?

4h has an issue that each 4H is not quite equivalently weighted. Asian 4H is much more insignificant than London 4H.

Hi Jonirrenicus,

What is the difference between your EA v1.03R and v1.03M?

Can you add the option of trading specified lots instead of the Risk (MM)?

I like your idea of trading the 4h TF.

Thanks for your reply.

Cheers

Hi,

Here is my little contribution, please review and improve.
Forward tested on 10K demo, EURUSD @ M1.
The settings are adjusted to that.

Good: DD below 10%, usually below 5%
Bad: If a basket is open, needs to be online until closure. It can reach more than 30 open orders.

Implemented ideas from this post:
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=4602111

>> Problem:
When too many orders are open and the closure time is slow.

>> To Do:
A way to identify the current basket and its closure price. When in closure mode, calculate its profit to avoid loss.
Maybe calculate the two possible close prices for profit and send them to the buy/sell orders, to avoid problems on disconnection.

Many thanks to Steve et all for sharing the knowledge.
Many reals pips to all.

Thank you OmarSM.
Looking good. Did you run this also on a higher TF?

Cheers

For these settings, it needs to run on M1 to place orders on the minute, but it checks 5 timeframes for the trigger/trend.

two days are too short, man. Run 1 week, at most 2 weeks, u'll see a wipe-out.

Thanks for your warning, but I have to believe the results of the demo.

Please forward test it, report the errors. I'm no coder but lets work together to correct them. Maybe we'll hit the jackpot. What's to loose?

Today I choose to run it from Tokyo Open to London Close. I like the results so far: DD not bigger than 7% and nearly 3% profit, and all orders closed.

Best regards

Will give your setup a go the coming trading week.

So far none of the stuff posted earlier in this thread worked very well.

Hi Freddy - so, did you have any success ? I never could use this ea successful ! And as I remember most other members here trying this ea had good results ? How someone could do well using this ea - I can't understand it. In fact it's nothing special to load up this thing into the MT4 and start trading

Scheisse, I think we call the present market.

I am used to making my daily pips in a market that moves, but it seems the whole financial world loves to depend on what a nonfit president in the USA is doing

In clearer words:
I think it is wiser at this moment to wait for a moving forex market before spending any time on this.

REMEMBER:
If there was an EA that would do ALL the work, all the thousands of screen watchers at the financial institutions would be obsolete and sent home, as a robot can do it.

Ok ok ... I agree: you may appraise the present market really as SCHEISSE ... well said ! But what about this damned ea here, named "Caillou: ..." ? So as I understand, you didn't try this ea one more time ? Ok may be this ea is Scheisse too ... or like the strategie ?
