I have some information collected into an excel sheet

how can I have my EA open and read the contents of the excel sheet?

You can use the usual FileOpen, FileRead etc functions with the caveat that the file has to be in either the expertsfiles folder (normal EA on a live chart) or the testerfiles folder (during backtest)
