All files installed correct, yet im seeing a black chart with the headers but nothing else, see attached, any ideas? im using MT4 402

Yes! you need to enable "Expert Advisors" on your mt4 platform. Just click the button on the top of the screen saying Expert Advisors

The new version fixes couple of bugs and most important: it displays the slope values of the TDI green price line for the current and previous bars!

you can download it in post 1. It has the same name so you don't need to modify your template.

her is sample from today about 17:30 (GMT+2):

Arbinka,

This is a great tool so that you can see the market from a TDI perspective on one screen at just a glance. My hats off to you for letting it go freely with your support also. One thing I noticed is that even with the setting of "false" for the tick data you still consume quite a bit of memory. In fact my machine wont even trade if I leave the EA on for an extended period of time. It simply says out of resources. My machine has 8G in it running Win7. If I look at the perfmon it says terminal is using about 2G of memory. Is there any way to optimize this with code?

I have to say, you have a superdynamic money manking machine on the go here, Well done indeed.

Not sure but can this be coded in a way that it fires an Email Alert or Pop up only when the TDI Slope Angle is 4 and above. As you will note, this is usually when the trend is strong hence pips harvest.

This tool will go a long way once some of these issues being mentioned are addressed. Also, it will be good for you to actually respond to peoples questions about your tool, that is what will attract people more to this thread and get people posting too.

You need to be aware that alot of people read but do not post and if they feel there is support then they will be more inclined to post.
I am also aware that you are most likely busy harvesting pips but give us more tools to use your tools as that is the best part of putting your tool here is people can use it and give you the credit right.

I am a full subscriber to this thread. Well done again!!

The problem is not the amount of memory you have in your machine, it is the CPU power that count. I am running 4 instances of mt4 on my computer, one of them with TmsMonitor and the others with my trading things - and it takes only 18% of the CPU! my computer equipped with INTEL I7-860 and 8G memory and 3 monitors(with windows 7). You need this kind of configuration if you want to be serious about trading.

my suggestion for you is to run the TmsMonitor with shorter list of symbols - this will make some different.

It can be coded to be less CPU consuming, but then I should implement the indicator code into the TMS monitor code but I haven't get the time for it.

Thank you. I hope to add the alerts in this weekend I need them too. I'm really busy doing some trades - and this tool is doing a wonderful job for me.

Hi buddy,

Why don't you post us some trade charts you took as a result of your Dashboard signal, at least as the developer of the Dashboard you will be expected to have some sort of result with this.

Surely, you must be using the tool as it appears you had invested alot of time in developing it.

Lots of poeple here are watching for some updates then they will come in and ask more about it, but you have to show us some good trades.

My server time is GMT+2;

I run the TmsMonitor on H1 and picked HA/5-EMA crossing signals.

I have ended all trades when current Slope values started to drop.

If i may ask,what Slope do you use to enter and exit a trade.

The TmsMonitor is not a trading system. It is a tool that display all information that one needs to trade the TMS system as described in the TMS thread:

Here is a performance summary of my 8 trading days using the TMS system (in fact only 6 trading days - the other two I just closed some leftovers from the day before).

I normally trade before the opening of the London session. I trade only if I have clear assumption of where the market will go in the London session. I use the TMS to confirm my assumption. The EU is the pair that gives me the market direction. If I have a clear decision about the EU then I will trade some other pairs that use to follow the EU (USDCFH and USDCAD will go the opposite way) -provided that TMS are signaling to the same direction. I find most important signal is the HA crossing 5EMA. The slope value is very important when I watch my open trades. If it is dropping on several pairs then for me it is a signal to exit the market.
I use SL and TP only if have to leave my computer for longer period.

thanks for your explanation.
I made about the same percentage in my account,but suddenly withing 5 days i was in a draw-down of about 70%.
That means i lost all the profit and even now in negative of 70%.
Hopefully over the weekend i shall look closely to your explanations % guidance.

I also checked TDI and it works really well on 4h. Your TMS Monitor is superb !! May be you can add alarm if you have time.
It's a pitty i cannot code, only some macro-action on Excel.

Do you think performance will keep on ?
I am also your trading style (fast in, fast out). What I see what's great by your strategy is that you have an edge by waiting currency pair to get into profit (so no SL or a wide SL). Probabilities are good for that trading.

I will try this also ! May be we can compare our results ? Again, thanks a lot !

I don't know, I think it depends on trading experience.
I planed to do some alerts last weekend but there was no time for it.

I wanted to say many thanks for the tool too. I've been trying to figure out the TMS system for a bit now and will be keen to test this tool.

Further to what sharemaster2 said, I wonder if the display itself should be modified so that only SELL / BUY instructions show when the slope angle is 4 or above. For example, right now it's saying USDCHF is a SELL but it only has a slope of 1 which I personally wouldn't trade on under this system. Or maybe it's somehow configurable for the user to set this setting.

This would hopefully mean a higher success rate - just a thought.

Also, where do you get your cool points / money tool from? (i.e. this one - http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...15#post4783315 )
