i moved my stop to brek even ongbp/usd. gbp/chf could reverse

Seems like the market is determine to close at the lowest! Out of eurusd with break even and 40 pips for gbpusd. Still a happy trade =)

eur/usd did the reversal because of the dollar index going up

news didnt help my trades at all lastnite...uj turned hard on me and took me out...gb us popped too, im up 2% for the week tho so its not all bad...im thinkn about a % trail stop because uj was around 75% into profit then turned ,gb us was 50% into profit

This really hurt me. I still remember I said GBPCHF was to go down this week and next week it would go up. Today it went up for a brrief moment, so both DK and I were right. The market is always right. All my trades of today are in a big minus, but I'm holding on to each and every one of them, cause I hate losing. Next week I will take revenge and close all of them in profit. Today's market reaction was totally the wrong way. For chart painting purposes it had to close down, but next week: EU EY GCand GU will be up. Otherwise I'll eat my hat.

I understand your feelings, believe me, I was many, many times in such a mess and minus in this bussiness that I thought I couldīnt withstand any more. Next week surely brings new opportunities for us and green pips also.

IMHO cable will go up next week . I donīt have any opinion concerning eur/usd. Nice weekend to you.

Same to you Tatbat and all others, we had some fun this week !
It was a little bit annoying today, cause I was sailing with friends when the news came out and I didn't have a chance to run for cover otherwise it wouldn't have been such a mess in my account.

And remember: if you made a profit: go buy a nice bunch of flowers for a beautiful lady, whether it is your wife or mistress...or both

I noticed AU EU GU CJ AJ all had H4 MACD diversions building up prior to news , only traded GU long CJ short AJ short , but the point is , the news just filled the diversion gaps on these pairs , then showed us were the bottom TL is for next week .

Seems contradictory but for me , fear of losing profits and confidence of gained profits is my enemy for trading .
We have to forget the losses , withstand the pressure of big profits .

Sugarbelly , I know you make dead accurate calls both on cycles and geometry , but if you start revenging the market , you will start triggering unnecessary trades ( like me ) .

Just forget the losses , analyze what was wrong, and if necessary change the system if it doesnt work .

Just a 2c from a noob .

My mistake was mixing up two systems. On GBPCHF we now have three pin bars in a row and I'm on the wrong side....
