Well, Many people ( included me) are still practicing and backtesting your method. It takes a while for them ( and me) to get the hang of it, and maybe posting questions later for the correctness of the usage of the system. Please be patient with some of the noob like me.

New and potential traders need some guidance from the experienced traders like you to direct us to the correct, straight path to profitability. Without some guidance, it takes years of frustration and losses to be profitable.

Give it sometimes for it to take off. Even a Boeing 747 needs take-off time, doesn't it?

Hi forexhard. After reading the thread it looks very interesting and I'm starting my tests right away. I will get back here for sure as soon as I will have some results (from what I checked it looks promising but have to do some live testing). Anyhow many thanks for sharing this technique.

I'm pretty happy sticking with GBP/USD and the 15 min time frame set out in the first post.

It is easy to get lost in the simplicity of a method by adding numerous different currencies and time frames to it, more so when one is such a novice in the handling of it. I've always liked the idea of concentrating on few currencies.......that way they seem to "talk" to you.

I haven't worked out why the larger artifact needs to extend to the left of the smaller one.

OK guys, I appreciate that you have kept this thread at the top of the list even after I said it was closed. I also appreciate the many kind words and the 5 star ranking.

But let's understand something. Having your own thread in a public forum like this one is no picnic. It uses up at least 2 hours of every day, and for what? That's time away from my family, my hobbys, and my own charts and pips. So when I see 7500 viewings and barely 12 replies from only 5 people that's simply not enough reason to keep it going and to make those other parts of my life go without. I hope the people who want to learn more about this system will always keep this in mind as time goes on.

And the next guy who says I'm only here because of my ego will be banned. Unless by ego he means earning 500 pips a week with breakouts, then he's forgiven.

I see that some of you are still not following the very simple directions of my first few posts. Your charts do not look the same as mine. If after step 1 you have more than one small or large box then something is wrong. So everyone: Please re-read my posts again. I tend to write in a very condensed style -- few words, but full of details. Please make sure you are (all) fully in sync before we continue.

Hi All

for those of you who are having difficulty getting the rectangle box to be the correct height/width etc. (although it is not that difficult!)

here is a simple script

drag it on to the screen, set the the height in points (5 digit brokers multiply pips by 10) and number of bars, color etc.

it will then create for you automatically a rectangle

name of the rectangle will be the prefix + height + bars

eg. Consolidation_300.300 (a 30 pip high box extending for 300 bars on a 5 digit broker)

then you can move it around as you wish (note if you want 2 long rectangles for upper lower, either change the prefix or change say the bars to be 301 on one of them)

You have set out a simple trading system , admirable in its simplicity. The lack of ( your ) expected response may well be due to the indicator-less simplicity , as most systems published on this forum are based on a multitude of indicators and not price action.
If indeed your wish is to spread the word , then the job is done. If however you seek accolades and huge numbers of responses , you may need to add some fancy indicators.
It is a surprise that, as yet , no indicators and EAs have been offered on this post.
