From MT4 simply insert "Bill Williams Alligator" go to the colors tab, change the colors of the red and green bars to "none". Click apply, the settings are already in.

Well I started with Trading Chaos Second Edition. Doesn't really matter, they are all great books!

May I interject? Recent posts seem to be muddying the waters. Bill Williams Alligator has the Jaws as period 13, shift 5, smoothed to the median price. This is the balance line. Give it any name you want, but I think here we should just call it the Balance Line....

AUDUSD trade still alive! +100 pips locked currently at +123

You are right it is the JAWS, Hit the reset button then keep only blue. 13 shift 8

Titch, Can i ask your opinion?

If the candle closes as it is currently would this be a good signal for a bounce trade?

The red horizontal line is my take on previous S/R and so to me we have a possbile bounce off the balance line, prvious S/R and not too far off a bounce off the 50 ema?

Any thoughts?

I suppose using the low + spread + 3 pips for entry should keep us out of trouble.

Hi indy

Was a great question and one I hadn't really thought about until you brought it up. I know colo tested the system and I think it is what he came up with that worked. Any lower we could end up be tipped into a trade then it going straight against us, but thats just my guess. I will ask him as I am speaking to him later and I will pm you.

Didnt get the signal for a bounce trade, instead got on for a cross. Price closed above 50 ema, above previous S/R and above balance line, although it wasn't very close to the balance line. I have set a buy order at the high + spread + 3 pips just incase.
