I took the trade considering the 21 ema from the Daily chart. there is also a rejection of 61.8% fib.

out of the trade, lost 45 pips...

Hi Raymond, thanks ... was out with 20 pips. The rest was BE.

I entered a trade this morning on the EUR for a quick 50 pips. It was a TC. I'll post a chart tonight.

I took a TC on the EUR this morning. I was only in the trade for about 20 min, which is why I exited before my TP. My entry was around 4335. The close of the TC candle was 4321, but I was a little late entering ( a few minutes). My TP was at 4395 (see the blue rectangle), but price when up to the high 80's quickly and I just exited b/c if price goes up that quickly I felt like it could not be sustained given the current environment.
One other thing to note is how the TC engulfed the previous candle and how it closed, near it's high

Look at the nice consolidation period on the GBP. I'm looking for a strong candle/bullish. The green MA/21 was not able to push price lower and you can see all the divergance on the MACD. Price targets would be the yellow trendline and/or the 89 MA, indicated by the yellow dotted line. Hope I catch it, but going to sleep now and will only wake up 1 time...about 4 hrs from now

not much to say since the set up is presenting itself again. I did not take any pip on the last trade since I did put my SL at BE. now the SL it is not very far from the upper trend line, cause I expect soon a market move showing a clear direction since the price is just getting out a triangle formation. thank again to Phillip Nel for this excellent 4HMacd Strategy.

I am now expecting 1.29 level to be breach, will see...

a pull back to the triangle formation.

I missed the GBP trade. You can see the break out candle indicated by the up arrow, or maybe it was the candle 8 hrs before that particular one. Anyways, I would have waited for a pull back to the top of the break out level or a MA, so I may have missed it even if I was in front of the computer. However, you can see price went back up the 89 MA (yellow dotted)

Here is a possible scenerio for the EUR. Price has been riding the 8 ema over the last couple of days, but it won't be able to keep up that pace and will eventually look for support off the 21 MA. You can also see previous resistance (future support) which is where the 21 MA should be in a few days, if not tomorrow. However, I would expect this period of consolidation to last a little longer than the one on the 6/28 and possible a little deeper. So who know what might happen, except I would definitely look for long trades and candle(s) to support such a move.

On a side note, does anyone actually give a ...., I'm not sure whether I'm wasting my time here.

Just to let you know that your comment on the pair is giving me a ...hint. I wll watch closer. thanks for the advice.

Nice to be with you again today. I have not traded for weeks now. Some trouble arose around me, and I have to put my ability into action to put things right and by grace all is well...still have not started trading, but will resume fully very soon...

I have taken good time to go through all the post from page 1620 to 1624...your posts are wonderful; very educative posts and inspirational...thank you to everyone...despite your busy schedules you do find time to make posts and post them...all the posts are edifying...and I believe this is what the forum should be...WE ARE ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS HERE...it is not our making that we were born in any country we found ourselves...Mama gave birth to us, and we saw ourselves where we are, our various countries of birth...any body could have been born anywhere...and some might choose to relocate for some reasons...

Ya! this is a quick update of the AUDUSD chart, lots of things to post and to show...I just posted this one now...the whole story is in the chart...please do look into it and make your contributions...When I see such opportunities as shown in the chart, I do go for 2 or 3 positions, take partial profits accordingly and always will allow the trade to run to its Maximum Potential according to my analysis...

Using those 5,13,1 parameters doesn't work on my platform, where 12,26,9 is standard. If the MACD length of 9 is reduced to 1 the MACD doesn't even appear.

I was trying to duplicate the parameters, has anyone figured out what they are on other platforms? Thanks.

I was studing all kind of technical analisys, 4 years ago. And I found the MACD Histogram the best for me.I was thinking just me use this point of analysis, because i didnt find another one like my system.... I was taking all the signals, for long and for short trades. I realized it was my best. Searching in hundreds of charts. But when I read your system I see your method almost the same, but I have to tell you... You are the master!!! I m very excited about your system. I read each paragraph and everything make sense!!!! The paterns, the candles, the rythm... Thank you to share your knowlege with us.

Try to calibrate your MACD. The classic is 12,26,9. But try to find the sense of the data with a heavier MAcd Histogramé .
52,24,18 or
78,36,27

Personally, I use the last calibration for my plattform
