Trades based on Market Geometry and Price Action

how do u determine your fakey ? because i see nothing on euro 4hr, but 8hr yes !

First you see the first long wick on the 21st at 2000hrs, then a long flat period. Now we see a slightly higher wick at the current 1600hr candle. Now for it to be a real fakey it has to turn down. But I think it has taken it's time, normally the price would have shot up, so that implies some Euro weakness. Also FOMC was good for Dollar, so I guess with all the trouble ahead for Euro, it will have to turn down.

What can happen is that you don't see it because you have a diifferent time in your marketwatch, especially when it is 1,2 or 3 hours difference. Your chart will look different. I noticed that yesterday as well, when you said you saw a fakey , but i didn't see it. My platform time is now18:59

I looked on a platform with 2HR as well and that also looks different. 8HR? Wow, never heard that existed. Will check another platform now.

yep. the few mins difference in chart can affect alot espeically in those of H1 chart and below ! i have seen many different charts at almost the same time frame. thus it will be better to study the strengths of the trend to identify fakie !

Tried to make a picture on FXCM trading station, which I don't use anymore:

On EURCAD: 4HR I see more of a head and shoulders pattern, but will lead to the same :-)
With that pattern you can also easily see the target, 1,39099 being the first, not sure if it's going to reacht the second at 1,3822, at least not today.

What I don't like is that Daily FX has like three buys on EU. But they are not always right, because they have simple systems like average crosses and will trade them no matter what. But sometimes they are right.....

thats a decision between buy or sell. nothing really much. overall they are just providing a summary with their own strategy. so its best to stick to yours =) btw, arent the daily FX indicating a sell on eur and gbp against usd ?

No, that's the strange thing, They are advertising a buy on EurUsd and a sell on GBPUsd
