DislikedHi Keith,the indicator works nice on my windows xp,but when i open it on my laptop that has windows 7 it seems something is not working.some pairs show 40 and 2 and the rsi is full red in all time frames of these pairs.any ideas?Ignored

simple analysis.. Traders in this ichimoku thread are one of the best i've seen. They dont make lots of noise like other thread.. and that none are really making real money..
Sad is.. ichimoku traders are busy making money, that they forget this ichimoku forever thread... why not spend some time.. sending your own analysis.. or share your charts here..

totaly agree that ichi patterns are powerful tool.lets discuss them if dont mind
1/i remember the pattern you share with us,for 30m and 15m.
2/we know about the tipical reversal shape of kumo,thanks to ichikid.
3/other pattern trys to warn us about fake kumobreak.
4/and the one from my trade.
those are the patterns i know so far.one thing i use(i cant call it a patternt but still..) is when price breaks 1h Ks. on 15m we have kumobreak.its not a surprise because kumo is average of Ks nad Ts,but its good to know what is happening on one TF while you are on other TF.

I have come across this style, and I have downloaded, read, and followed everything on the web (except read through this humongous thread! but I downloaded most of the pdfs).
I have some questions, and I am wondering if anyone can provide some or all the answers to what I seek.
Questions:
1. Chart settings, 7,22,44 or 8,24,48 or 4,12,24?
I have read that the 4,12,24 are for the NY trading session, whereas the 8,24,48 are considered more conservative.
Should there be different settings depending on the
A. Currency I am trading at the time?
B. Market I am trading NY, London, Tokyo?
C. Time Frame I am trading in 5min, 15min, and 1hr?
What is your recommended settings to the markets, timeframes, and currencies?
2. Renko Bars? Heiken Ashi? Candlesticks?
I like the heiken ashi for price action, smoother, but a lot of Ichi traders use Renko bars. Why? Is it better for telling the trend? less fake-outs?
Do people use Renko bars for trading forex a lot and just not with the ichi system? Or do traders use Renko with Ichi primarily (in your honest opinion?)
3. CURRENCY PAIRS, GOLD and exotics?
I hear Ichi is situated for mostly trending currency pairs, but I personally happen to think that it can do ok in a whipsaw market because it shows you that the market is consolidating and you can just look for another pair while setting up an OCO order for the breakout.
BUT are there currency pairs ICHI is not situated for due to volatility, like exotic pairs?
How does ICHI do in the GOLD forex? I hear there is a higher pip range in gold not sure if its USD/GOLD or XUA/GOLD...
I basically love this system, and I want to use it to trade volatile markets, various currency pairs (maybe exotics as well), but I am confused on the settings, type of graphing and currencies that respond well to this system.

I read that the Chinkou Span is a good source of S/R levels, and I saw this image,

My question is, is there any indicators that will draw these support levels on the chart?
How do these levels correlate with daily pivot points, (any) pivot points, or Fib levels?
Another Question: Is the price considered MORE bullish if the price action is above the kumo cloud, but the kumo cloud is thick opposed to a thin?
Appreciate any responses!
It's not much support levels if u draw it from month,week,daily,h4.2. It relates very well. Try understand the formula for each component or try read the ichiwiki over and over again.

For those who have problems with Ichiballs indicator
Some of you see a lot of 40's and 2's and rsi and cci oversold.that is a sign that the indi is not working properly
You can easily solve this problem by doing this
Step 1) Open a chart and start to drag each pair inside.
Start from monthly time frame,you should see only few bars on the left of the screen.Put you cursor at the left side of the chart hold the left button of your mouse and drag the chart to the end so you can see the bars appearing.repeat this for weekly,D1 and H4.then go to the next pair
Step 2) when you are done with all pairs,go to the chart that ichiballs is loaded.
drag each pair inside this chart and when you finish the indi should show the correct numbers

1. Don't be lazy, draw it yourself
2. It relates very well. Try understand the formula for each component or try read the ichiwiki over and over again.
