Resize EA properties window?

Is there a mod or script that allows resizing of the expert properties window? It is really annoying to scroll through that list while testing EAs with tons of options. Any help is appreciated!

Try this.

You can use the indicator or the EA, they are 99% identical inside.

The difference is, the indy is driven by ticks and therefore it can take awhile until the input window becomes sizeable, and it will not take care of the input windows during weekends (in tester) etc, unless you use a tick simulator.

The EA runs in loop mode, hence its own options (via F7) are unaccessible (that's the disadvantage of looped EAs) but if you switch to MN1 (monthly) timeframe, you'll get into it. EA will work 24/7 (sleep 1/3sec) and its operation is smoother since it doesn't depend on ticks.

There is nothing much to explain, both the indy and EA have only 5 strings in settings - the button names in the dialog boxes (OK/Cancel/Reset/Load/Save) - if you don't use MT4 in english, just set your localized strings.

Use one of them, but only on one single chart, even if you have more MT4 instances. The one will handle all MT4 input windows (one at a time of course) on your PC. Make sure DLLs are allowed (no need to fear; only user32.dll is used).



PS: if you come here please test and tell me what's wrong so I can fix bugs and re-post here, thx. If you wanna go a quick and dirty route, google 'ResizeEnable' - that's a windows freeware utility (dated 2003) that resizes everything - including the buttons. looks abit ugly but works too.

Nice tool.
However i always test with my MT4 offline. It seems the ea/indi needs a broker connection as well as ticks. Is there a way to remove this requirement?
