Jon0 why didn't you re-enter the USDJPY?? The next candle was a close just below the blue line and it went south nicely.

The alert was written a year ago, so it is meant for any system with an MA cross, which is why the message is generic. The 10 MA is the default, change the inputs to look like this. I am testing a new one to monitor multiple currency pairs.

Moved stop on USDCAD to .9750 - locked in 12 pips. Wanted to make it official with the close of the candle.

The alert seems to work. Had an alert pop up on EURCAD, although the pair is not trending right now, and I won't take the trade, but it did alert me when price got close to the blue line.

Is it possible to change the alert message to

"Price is approaching the yummy blue line"??

Now my slack of sleep is just getting ridiculous!

It seems like price is respecting those 13 MA lines with 8 shift..At least for now. Questions is why these settings? Any inputs?

Hallo-i am from europe-it was early in the morning and night.And the renter USD-YEN was a loss again.Small but a loss.

Hello, I used this strategy Eur/Usd for the first time, and I was able to gain 75 pips in couple trades so far. I managed to combine it with my other strategy and it worked easily. Great way to trade.

Question for you concerning the alert. The "Alertpips value" is set to 1. Does this mean that when price comes to within 1 pip of the blue line the alert triggers. I've received 3 alerts now and it seems to be too late (in 2 cases anyway). If I change the value to say 10, would that increase the alert, and I would be alerted at 10 pips prior as opposed to 1 pip?

USD/CAD is struggling stop still at .9750 12 pips locked in

Keep an eye on this pair - possible bounce trade or if it pushes through, possible blue line cross.

Not sure how much warning is needed with the alert. I assumed 1 pip was good because there is no chance of reversing. With 10 pips, it might never get closer to the MA. But everybody has a different idea, I suppose.

Live to trade another day. I dont like the EURCHF cross because price is approaching the physo number 1.21000 that is an awful flat number and may provide significant resistance.

And it coincides almost directly to where your buy stop would be

That is what I thought. I like to "Know" when price is approaching. Once I know I will have time to assess "how" it approaches.

For example the EURCHF when I received the alert I was able to look at price. When I started to set my buy stop, I noticed it was moving too close to the 1.21000 level. Previously, i would have clicked the tab and hastily placed a buy stop without first assessing things - make sense?.

The alert already has benefits!

Moved stop on GBPJPY to 131.71 Closed extremely bearish, I anticipate being taken out here. I've wrung this cloth for every drop. 90 pips locked

USDCAD still hovering at same level +12 pips locked

Had a trigger (not hit) in place for a buy on the cross of the "Yummy" blue line although looks more like a bounce so i may get it the other way yet. Comments?
