Hello coders & traders! Here my first order management EA!

First two orders processed in PipDefender, both trailing stops were set to enable once in profit, both hit SL and both were in profit, without me having to manually adjust them. Made more profit than I would've just setting scalping level TP, and didn't have to worry about manually adjusting trailing stops to BE or profit.

Still early in testing,and it took me a bit to set the correct parameters for it to run as it should, but it certainly looks good so far!
PipDefender 1.0beta8 is out!

Version notes:

- support for 2-3-4-5 digits currencies
- magic number exclusion list: a comma separated list of magic numbers. Order with those numbers will be ignored by PipDefender management.
- now PipDefender could be launched in multiple instances inside the same Metatrader
- great performances improvement & stability
- better errors & trouble reporting

I asked because i'm new on Forex !
I use to deal with Metastock. Now im using MT4, but im not good with the programming. So i need some advise about a good EA to identify and open orders.
Which one can you sugest me ?
Sorry about the limited english. it is not my primary language.

I plugged it in, but it is giving me an error message. It says the system requires a .NET frame. Any help on this is greatly appreciate it.

You're right, the english manuall is not ready yet and I forgot to explain it in my previous post.

Download & Install the .NET 4.0 framework runtime.

The other requirement is a Windows version 2000 or later.
Thank you so much for getting back with me. I did download the .NET framework and I did not get an error message any more, however, the system says *** PAUSED *** is it typical or am I doing something wrong? Many thanks!

Hi dude,

in order to avoid unwanted closures, for maximum safety, PipDefender starts by default in Pause Mode. You have to switch the trigger (press F7 for the external variables list) PAUSE = false.

I'll release very soon a proper english manual... stay tuned

downloaded pipdefender .. loaded it onto my mt4 .. used the incremental scalping presets and also set pause = false. Been runnin for bout 2 hours now .. still no trades .. am I doing something wrong?

Well, hemm... dude...

PiDefender is an order management EA. It implements a wide range of order’s handling tecniques for both order opened manually or by other EA. PipDefender never ever opens orders but it takes care of managing them, trying to maximize profits and reduce losses.

Very soon I'll release the english manual, just a bit more patience.

ah .. ok. Now I understand.

So does this mean, if I were to open 1 position, PiPDefender will then do its magic? Sorry for all this noobish question but fx trading with indis and EAs are very very new to me

Yes, one or more positions on the same PipDefender's chart symbol (if you launch PD on EURJPY it will manage only EURJPY orders and so on...).

Try it first on a demo account.
Very soon I'll release the english manual (the draft version is under review in these days).

Sorry for the slow reply, I ended up getting a new computer today, and reinstalled everything. I was able to get it to connect today after changing the setting from true to false. Will see how it goes. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Hello, it is me again, I was reading previous post and thought to ask you a quick question. So my understanding based on what you said. This is a trader copier and not an automated EA. Right?

Hello,

no this is not a trade copier, PipDefender is an order management EA, a trade assistant.

PipDefender monitors your orders profits and losses, it can close your orders or set to breakeven, use a trailing stop, hide your stops etc...
