When I add an Alert and submit it I can see it under Pending Alerts, but if I close that List Window and repoen it (Alerts > View Alerts) it is not there anymore ? Should I keep the Alert List window open in orders alerts to work?

And, are there any kind of "off line" alerts (server side) sending email to predefined addres ?

A question to Justin (or any of you dear fellows who could have an idea):
Why OHLC of some bars change when switching between intervals or restarting the app. (desktop pro)?
I have pointed such bars with A,B,C,D rectangles. Lower pic. (one with A',B',C',D') is a chart after the app. has been restarted.

Very slow chart responce... sometimes it takes a whole minute to refresh when I change timeframe... actualy... at the moment .. 2-3 minutes... lets see how long it will take...

.. still waiting

.. nope.. restarting...

Desktop Pro.

Anyone having the same problem.. ?

I'm coming back to MB Trading ( after having been with Oanda ).
Recently, I have been in love with the use of Myfxbook.com for analysis of my trades.

I have no desire to use MT4, MB Desktop Pro is great when you get familiar with it.
(as the above posters have confirmed)

I'd like to be able to use Myfxbook.com though.

They say that if you have a MT4 enabled account, you CANNOT enter trades from Desktop Pro.
(though you can have both platforms running)

I want to use Desktop Pro... but have the publishing ability of MT4 to track my trades
using Myfxbook.com, Trade Explorer, etc.

Can I have the ability to login to MT4 (with no trade entry) and still use Desktop Pro
as my main platform?

Any ideas?

I believe the work around to this (anybody please correct me if I'm wrong) is to have 2 separate accounts. A live funded MT4(one account number) and a live funded Desk Top Pro(another account number).

2 separate funded accounts so you can view the live data feeds/charting for each and to trade on which ever platform you would prefer since they are 2 different/separate accounts.

You can't use NT with Nav Pro.

 

  1. NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.2 and earlier: You must have MBT Navigator Version 11.5.0.5 installed - Download
  2. NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.3 or later: You must have MBT Navigator Version 11.6.0.0 installed - Download

That's because real-time data is "washed" before it's saved on the server. Speak to eSig about it and they'll give you all you all the details.

You can use it with desktop pro without downloading nav.

But if you could check my account and you would see like 12 tickets. To add to my bad experience thus far, my ACH transfer just got rejected because it was too large. I saw nowhere on the ACH transfer page stating a limit (maybe I missed it?), and my transfer request wasn't rejected until 3 days after I made it. If there's a limit like that, it should be hard coded into the form. Also, had I known that there was such a small limit, I would have sent a check weeks ago.

ACH limits vary depending on the financial institition, but according to the MBT website (http://www.mbtrading.com/forexDeposits.aspx), the max limit is $5000 and possibly less depending on individual circumstances.

There can also be limits set on a max deposit per day/week/month I believe, and a limit on how many transactions you can do. I didn't see anything in particular for either of these two details, though.

It also depends on what you specified as your networth on the account application. If you try to deposit too much relative to your networth, MBT is not allowed to accept it due to regulation.

Question for everyone about using MBT's platforms.

I hear mt4 is slow execution, but with their ECN attached, does that cure that problem?

Does anyone prefer the old Desktop platform to the new Pro platform?

Does the mt4 have access to the order book?

Is there any difference of fills,speeds,spreads between mt4 and desktop/pro?

Execution is really the same, there might be an extra few milliseconds response from MT4 just because it is an extra component that the fill has to pass through.

I like Pro over the old Desktop, but they do have some new features in regular Desktop that haven't moved to Pro yet.

MT4 doesn't show order book.

Quotes are same.
