Wh1zz0, good catch. There is a minor bug I will fix, but meanwhile, if you want to see the ADR, then you must also display the APR. As a reminder, if you are looking at a Daily chart, then the APR *is* the ADR, and in fact, the display of one of those is suppressed so you don't see a duplicate.

Regarding sounds, I have an experimental version but it needs further testing and work. You might also go into further detail what you had in mind. Due to limitations in MT4, sound files and popup alerts are mutually *exclusive*. It's too bad because you might hear the sound but you want to see the details in a popup alert. The workaround is you must open the Terminal->Experts window to review the log file. I will do a Print at the same time as playing a sound file, so at least the information will be there. I'll provide variables to specify sound files which you can create as you like. (If you upload some sound files I'll consider incorporating those... not sure).

Good ideas... Sorry I can't commit to when I will release another version as there's a lot on my plate.

Eagle9, I'm not sure what you mean because by default, the "Broker" time is already displayed. FYI, the "Berlin" timezone is GMT+1. London is GMT. Helsinki and Israel are both GMT+2. I'm guessing one of those should work for you. There are probably a hundred different timezones in the world and I'm not able to implement all of them. You didn't specify the exact timezone. Brokers, however, can be rather strange and don't follow the timezone you'd expect. For example, I prefer charts where the broker uses a GMT+2 time, BUT, the ST/DST dates should match the U.S. Why? GMT+2 candles close at NewYork 5PM ET, and that GMT+2 feed makes for 5 Daily-bars-per-week which I prefer. By matching the U.S. ST/DST changeover dates, the charts have 5 Daily-bars-per-week the entire year round.

Alex198555, except for the minor APR bug mentioned, the current posted version of P4L Clock works pretty well. I don't know when I'll get around to incorporating sound files.

FYI, if you replace an older version you must "Reset" the variable values on every chart, or simply detach and re-attach the indicator to every chart.
Changes:
* New variable "TextUsuallyAbovePriceLine" is set to "FALSE" by default. If False, the time label now appears BELOW the price line, more consistently close to the line vs. previous versions.
* Previous v1_2 had some problems to display "WAIT4BARS" (which is rare anyway) for timeframes > H1). Problem is fixed.
* Changed to a fixed-size font, "Lucida Console", which is necessary to handle the longest string displayed.
* This version runs every tick, however, for the 2nd-Nth ticks within a single second, the label is only moved and not recalculated.
* New external variable "AdjustWeeklyTimeRemainBy_min" is a hack to fix at least one broker's error with the true start time of weekly bars. The broker feed SAYS the bars start Sunday 00:00:00 but in fact new bars form on Monday 00:00:00. A value of 1440 minutes is needed to provide the true countdown left.
* This version handles offline charts > 1Month as generated by "P4L PeriodCon.mq4".

* Fixed bug that ShowAvgDailyRange was forced to false if ShowAvgPeriodRange was false. They are now independent.
* Default LabelCorner changed to 2 (bottom-left). Was 1 (top-right). The old default location tended to cover fibo levels and more recent price bars. NOTE: THE USER MAY EDIT AND CHANGE THE CODE AS DESIRED!
* Default "DoLowSpreadArrows" is now false.
* Double-checked ST/DST changover dates and updated Israel dates.
* Added Bid price to low-spread alert.
* LowSpread arrows have Background=false, and now occur at the exact current price.
* Every LowSpread event now creates an arrow. (Used to be one-arrow-per-bar storing only the last event per bar)
(FYI, sound alerts are not yet implemented in this version).

This clock is awesome. The only improvement I can suggest is a function that would print upcoming opening and closing of markets as vertical lines with labels of the market opening and closing directly on the chart. One could customize it to whatever markets he would like to have print on the chart.

You must like organized and efficient indicators (like myself) because I am absolutely loving it so far without having even tried it yet.

I do have a quick question:

What is the difference between the two indicators if they both show the same thing? One does it in a 'table' and one does it beside the bar w/ chart shift.

You need to read post #1, then just try each indicator. What each one does is self-explanatory, and no they don't do the same thing.

Something seems to be wrong with Tokyo displaying it's open.

In my Clock program, all market zones are considered "open" from 8AM to 5PM local time, with the exception of Sydney, which has a default of 7AM to 4PM (which the user can customize). (FYI, an Aussie user informed me of the local market hours and so I put it in the code).

If it is universally accepted that Tokyo's Forex market hours are 9AM to 6PM local time, then in a future release I can build in those custom market hours for the Tokyo timezone.

Question for anyone who knows for sure:
Does Tokyo trade Forex typically 8AM - 5PM, or instead from 9AM to 6PM?


(I can see that Forex Factory's "Sessions" meter for Tokyo uses 9AM to 6PM, so that is at least one major implied endorsement for a change to those hours).

I remember a forex trainer who told me that the Japan market hours are abit special and start from 9-6pm JST.

Do you realize just how much programming this would require? Different countries change at different days over a period of 3 months I believe! And could change again by next year

Most traders can't even figure out when GMT is compared to their own timezone, from what I read by noobs on FF here, so this is not a realistic proposal at all, IMHO.

IF time is so important to you, find another resource to be absolutely sure; here is what I do, set up a personal clock on Time & Date . com and keep 1 tab open for reference, easy as
