Maybe I wasn't clear. If you have a USD-based account and you buy 10 GBPUSD right now via a limit (which is 100,000 lot but USES approximately 100,000 x 1.64 = 164,000 in margin), the credit to the account would be $3.19. That's 1.95 times 1.64.

New MBT forex customer here. Just wanted to chime in with my experience thus far since signing up 2 weeks ago.

1) The account management and ticketing UI on your site is unbelievably bad and glitchy. I'm using the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox, FWIW. I've submitted 3 tickets about specific problems I hope you fix, but in general, whoever designed your interface really should be fired.

2) I found two typos on your site -- makes me think this isn't a professional operation. I wouldn't give all my money to a bank that had typos on their site.

3) I sent in my ACH transfer setup form over a week and a half ago. Had I known it would take this long I would have sent in a check at the same time.

4) I've heard good things about your ACTUAL services, but I've yet to experience those. I hope it works out, because it's such a pain to switch brokers!

Can you point me to the typos please? Also, please email me your information in private so I can have a look. ACH usually takes about a week to set up from the time that we get all of your info just based on what we have to provide to the banks.

MBT, how do thy love thou so?

A commissioned based broker that pays me for making trades and i get a better price when I do so. A win win situation. This is huge. As far as i am concerned non-commissioned brokers are ones to be very wary about.

Now I hear you all will be upgrading the platform and adding more ways to enter and exit trades.


I now have the option of adding funds ( hopefully that will never happen) through my credit card.

I love the convenience if I should ever have to do so.

You guys were the best to begin with but you did not stop there and become complacent. It seems that you all are continually striving to serve your customers.

For the life of me why would anybody choose anyone else.

(Unless you are one of those Oanda weekend traders. Now I do understand that those outstanding 20 PIP spreads that they offer are hard to refuse)

justin why when funding with a credit card you have to withdraw back to your credit card and is it the best intrest of your clients? here's from your site:

lets say i fund my account with 5k and after 6months of trading i no longer have that credit card and now i want to withdraw my money, how will that work in this case?

That rule is in effect for 90 days. If you have had no credit card deposits for 90 days, you can withdraw any way you like.

Hello Justin,

I have a question for you. I have been tearing it up on my demo account, and I am ready to reintroduce my real money to an ECN broker. I signed up for MB to testdrive it, but I have been wondering lately who is a better broker for my situation, MBT or FastBrokers.

Both have novel trading platforms (can't stand mt4), and access to ECN. What are the differences between you two?

Why Should I pick MBT over Fastbrokers?

Also appreciate any responses from seasoned veterans on this forum regarding my question!

We have a policy not to comment on other brokers, but our minimum deposit is $400; probably the best way to truly compare.

Any news on the web beta and iPad app? I already sent email on the iPad beta and was told to expect it soon. Looking forward to the Multi Charts webinar... so far love this as an alternative to desktop pro .. hate the charting in desktop pro. Order entry is nice though

I am not saying that you should go with MB over Fast Brokers, I do not know anything about the latter. But as Justin stated you can open an account with a relatively small amount of cash so give them both a test run.

Getting paid for limit orders is a real plus. It you are an active trader it can make a nice difference to your bottom line.

I have been with them for over three years now and I have not single complaint about them.

The people at the order desk are extremely nice and helpful. One night last summer a real bad storm came through and knocked everything out. I was in a little bit too heavy and the markets were going kind of crazy that night. I was sort of in a panic mode (I had no SL or TP entered) but the dude at the desk took his time with me which helped me to relax and I got all my positions taken care of so to speak. He was really patient and took his time with a trader who at the time was like I said above, in "panic mode". That meant a lot to me and I haven't forgotten it.

k, i knew about this thread and i want to see if anybody else is experiencing the same problem like me...in fact i thought i have problems with my desktop pro platform because i had allot of canceled and replaced TTO orders and when the one leg of the order was hit nothing happend or it was hi but to see later i still have a partial position open. they split my position and they closed just a part leaving the other part open. what the heck is this? if i want to close partially my position i will do it i don't think is fare to decide that for me and by the way haw the hell you deal with the new position the guy from customer service didn't want to "belive" me i didn't touched the position...interesting when i thought i closed all my positions i see aafter i still have one open thank's to you with a canceled TTO and some stop order i really don't even know what the hell happened but this is outrageous!
fast broker you said? i will close my account as soon as i find another reliable broker

I have never had that happen to me. I have had orders (Limit )that were only partially filled but that happens sometimes especially if it is somewhat large. My unfilled part of the order was still live and as the trade went in my favor I just closed it out later and cancelled the Limit that remained live because it was no longer a valid entry point any longer.

it wasn't a large position, in fact was one of the smallest...10.000=1mini lot. they split in 8000 and 2000 and the rest is confused i almost had a verbal fight with the customer service guy...and by the way i forgot for a while i didn't had anything in my position window to at least know what happened and i though that the end of my trade just to find later i still have 2000 in sell
