4h - points to 1.4746. short with a close below 1.4572
1h - no open bull cycles. short entry with a close below 1.46
30m - finally we are at 1.4664, an older cycle open since last friday. we have 3 cycles finishing were we are now (1.466-75 area). so a close above and a close below and i will be short.
15m - also finishing cycles here. the best entry for me would be a close above 75 and a close below but 64 will do too.
5m- also pointing to 1.4675. same drill:close above, close below and i am short.

i don't expect (for now) much of this short....

Sorry mate, can't see the 30M cycle ending at 1.4664. Any chance you can post a piccy for me please? Cheers.

Though a higher time scale than yours, I am still LONG EUR/USD. Looks like a break of the resistance @ 1.465 - don't see anything really significant until 1.488 which obviously the "common" top of the previous up movement will inherently become a S/R zone for the current up move.

I won't speculate beyond that since their is no precedence.

As I've stated before, you should always fundamentally plan your trade and technically execute it. The perfect marriage of fundamental price movement with technical analysis to pinpoint entry and exit.

my trend lines say 1.4750 area. also we complete a big cycle there. i think, if we are to reverse, it should happen tomorrow, not today. there is some room to go down today.

let's c what it brings

Seems like a down day for me, Stuts. SLs above 1.47 seem safe.

we already tried to break the C on the hourly and failed. and as long as that C is there we are pointing to ... yup, 1.475 area too (1.4757 to be more precise).

Agreed, seems quite risk averse ATM - stocks tumbling, oil down.

I'm holding a short from 1.4679 (triple top bearish engulfing retest on M5).

I do worry that we bounced off the DP and as you say, that C line is proving hard to break but we did close below on H1 earlier according to my charts.

Let's see.....

Keep up the good work.

An H1 close below yesterday's daily break line (also last week's close) at 1.46513 would be nice and give me some confidence to hold further.

Have you any positions open wannaberich?

Update: Bounced off DP again. Moved stops down to 1.46684.

Stopped out. Ahh well. Looks like you were right about it wanting to go after that incomplete H1 target. Will be joining the action north at the next opportunity.

OK, in long from 1.4661 with initial stop at 1.46358 and target of 1.4750.

Will reconsider if bearish PA forms below daily line 1.4651

No good, exited with 18 loss.

sorry, was away from the pc.

here is my view:

was expecting this bounce here. you can see the blue trendlines were price turned. also you can see the trendlines i expect price to rebound at 1.4750 and the end of a bigger 4h cycle which is the red horizontal line.

i exited my short at 20 for 44 pips.

right now i am on the side lines. my view we are at a pivotal zone. if you pick up an hourly you'll see we are the the D of the higher cycle. that means that if the 1h closes above 1.4635 that would be a long signal. exact same thing for the 30m.

my view this COULD well be an excelent entry but short! i believe we could still go down to 1.4570 which would make sense cycle wise too.

that would complete a bull flag that would take us to 1.4750. but this is already a lot of "if then else"s LOL

i am favouring long but must admit i see as more lightly another move down to 1.4570 to complete the open cycles as the Cs (1h and 30m) seem to be holding pretty well (1.4636)

if we do see a break above and a come back to test 1.4636 without a break i will long.

otherwise i am very much considering a short right here...

but i will long with confidence at 1.4570

Interesting, but as I understand when A or C it taken out then that particular pattern is invalidated, it took aout your lower C 3 bars ago, and therefore we go to the higher time frame pattern.

1.4610 is the low, for the C on the hourly. i may be looking at this wrong, I see an inverted Hand S on the 15 just being completed, so I am seeing 1.4544 being the pivot, i am still long from 1.4598 and watching............

now you got me running numbers again to verify,,,,,,,,,,,and thats a good thing

what TF are you talking about?

on the 15m we are straying below the 20 ema

it's the 3rd time we trying to get above that C. looks like failing... points to 1.4584...
