the red cycle just completed. a touch (gotta change to candles to see that) to the pip and bears rest for a while. they are still in charge unless we close 15m above 1.46194.

it's a pity i don't have time to post all the charts. 5m at least is drawing new cycles all the time.

but i'll post the trades a charts associated with setups.

right now i am looking for long entries either:

a close above 1.46194

a close below 1.4598 and a close above it (15m)

this is just another tool. so all the other tools we use are welcome.

there is a 30m cycle completing at 1.4599.

this makes my belief stronger that a close below that area and a close above, would be a good long.

That is just me moving my charts around, I keep a ABCD on my charts, I am fairly new at this method and trying to get a handle on in it. I look at a M5 M15 AND 1H all at the same time, EURUSD, AUDUSD, and USDCHF. I trade a longer term mostly, while also trading the smaller swings on another account. I am finding that this method works well , as long as you understand MA's.

I still trying to get to a point I can see this method without all the stuff on my charts,

Thanks for starting this,

1.46 (a couple of pips below) seems key. 1h, 30m and 5m completed there. completion means continuation. close below than back means failure. let's see if it fails or continues down.

glad to have on board.

the bullish engulfing on the 5m looks like the cherry on top. let's see how the other TFs behave.

In reading the previous posts, jrushing made a comment about price hitting 1.46XX and then dropping 40 points which you didn't see.

That's actually a good example of price feed variance across brokers and platforms.

Each broker may not show price levels at the same level. It will sometimes vary by a fraction to possibly 1.5 points. I used to trade with Oanda and switched to TD Ameritrade. I immediatly noticed a difference in the price feed. TD is much smoother, but they also don't widen spreads. Oanda is faster and sometimes spikes to levels TD does not.

It's a minor thing and doesn't really matter too much, but it popped in my head while I was reading the thread.

I used to think that all brokers were somehow obligated to show price levels the same, but they arent'. Being an unregulated market for the most part, you can't "obligate" a broker to much.

i use alpari for volume and trade a smaller broker. i see they have different prices, although the difference stays very similiar (also due to different spreads, as you noticed.

what i think matters here is one should do the math related to his brokers. also although i look at my exact numbers i have seen many times that we should use a "cushion". this means that a close below for me has to be more than 3 pips below. otherwise i consider it a close on top and wait.

again really glad to have your visit, Big T.

(still hanging on to the job LOL)

I use 1 American based broker, and one overseas, I find the American based broker is better and smother, i use that for signals and just open trade the other one overseas, at least the one overseas I can hedge when I need too.

bears making an effort to keep us below the 2 5m Ds (that are also 30m and 15m D)

still holding as it seems to me they are struggling to keep it down (and not marking down).
