Well when I joined this thread, I read all the way through, and I have read it back since then. If you are serious you should do the same as there are some useful tips to be found here.

I think "the fool" is correct re post 2063, i cant remember but the beauty is there are indys and templated here and you can customise your preferences when you are ready and understand the template.

Looks like the standard HA candles that come with MT4, 3 level semafor that does not have floaters, the bottom indicator is just a HA candle subwindow indicator and the MA seems in my eyes as just a 100 SMA....its hard to tell you the MA cause the pic is crap lol and the arrows seem to be just the Freebie Signal Alert indicator ....you should have all but 2, the others come on your platform. click the paper clip on this thread ....hide images then you can scroll and find them..................BLAH BLAH BLAH! lol

Crap picture, work at art is that, should be in the tate modern, or is that "tater" modern.

I have to admit i knew squat about indys before this thread, and i preferred the colours in Paula template as colour blind and i could see things easier so my template is a hybrid of the two.

I only put the freebie stuff stuff on their for ease, as i look at Naked Chart first and this template second which also gives me a heads up. I may take the alerts off to see if they are causing my MT4 freezing problem, maybe I have too much going on. I may strip back and rebuild and see if there is a difference.

Paulus, thanks for your results... this is very encouraging for me as a newbie! I understood that you get your TP from the next pivot, right? I wonder why you often have the "exact" results +5%, +10%, +15%... Is this the R:R near the next pivot? How do you decide to go for 15% or 5%? (I read nearly all of your posts, but I couldn't find the answer... sorry, if I missed that...)

He doesn't go for the next pivot, he goes for 5% minimum tp as his risk is always 5%. I presume if its still looking good he will go for the 10% and then 15% maximum.

My thoughts, although they could be wrong, is that Paulus enters two trades at the same time as long as there is at least 5% profit in it when, or before, it hits the first pivot, he then closes out the first trade and allows the second one to continue for a further 5% profit, making 10% in total, before also closing out that trade thereby making a total profit of 15%

As I said I could be wrong but that's the only logical way that I can think that he does it.

If I go short and my next pivot down is greater than 5% then I close when I hit the pivot

I round the figure for posting to the nearest % no point putting TP hit 7.78 %
So I post 7%

My Max TP is 15 % ie the next pivot down is a long way off due to large moves yesterday..25 30% tp's are unrealistic so I set them to max 15% which is the text book ideal RR of 3:1

I never move my SL I never close out parts of a position I never reverse

Only 2 outcomes are possible..........I win .........I lose

Good morning traders. Nothing bouncing from weekly pivots this morning so no trades for me atm. Have to see, what that G/U is doing. The trend is down, but will it turn upwards.
Dear Readers,

a general apology to you and to Dredding in particular.

I have been working on an EA, but since then I have had a little holiday (vacation) for my Brothers 50th and also received some real paid work (and that doesn't happen to often). With luck I'll clear the work this week, but more likely by the end of next week. I can then return to the EA development.

Sorry this is taking so long. Life happens sometimes.
