Exactly my thoughts over the weekend, wondering if coupling it with the TDI will help with entry/exit. Having said that, I strongly recommend using profit protect for exits.

Dido..... Been working with Kos's sytem with TDI sitting at the bottom and I like it !! TDI is an objective tool but it certainly is a good confirmation tool or filter as you say

Yes, I agree it's a great confirmation tool. I'm also comparing Synergy_APB with the standard candles for further confirmation, plus the Stochastic Slope to provide input on levels. All these are available from the TMS thread.

I'm using http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=89371 for managing baskets and have modified some scripts to allow me to place hedging baskets when the trend goes against me, to grab some extra pips and/or offset a reversal. If anyone wants me to post them with a short explanation, I will do so.

I need help to understand the meaning of certain indicators.
I perfectly understand the method with GVC I thank very much
is really someone of property and it is rare at this time:.

so here are the values that I do not have a understanding.

on screen 1 part A:

What does "ref bias"? and if the value is positive it means what? and negative?
What does "anchor bias"? and if its value is positive it means what? and negative?
What does "basket bias"? and if its value is positive it means what? and if negative?




on screen 2 part B:

that means its values? These are "pips", and "$"? and how the interpreter?


on screen 2 part C:

"U, J, O" = USD, JPY, others the ok not problems but how interpreter values?

example.

U = 24-27 T =? and this means what?
U =-10 25 T =? and this means what?

U = 10 45 T =? and this means what?

U = - 41 - 25 T = and this means what?

then at the bottom I have I think total on 3 columns.
example.

45-150 T =? and this means what?
-75-45 T =? and this means what?

75 87 T =? and this means what?

-15 65 T =? and this means what?

Thank you for your help, I know that for some these are questions betes
but for me not because I have great difficulty understanding some indicators because
I speak English and I started in this area.

These days and the following 2 months (I think) are going to be a very very trendy days, so every indicator and method will work NICE.

Means, even without T101 method you are going to do a very good profits, as you trade WITH the trend.

As GVC said, the problem begins as the trend is not clear...

TDI is the same thing with Heiken Ashi they give you the same information so no one is confirming the other. go and check my post at the Simple Trading thread you will see picture I posted there.

But The HAS multi time frame will put the trend in the higher Timeframe in your face and you can be sure that if you are trading 5min TF for example you can set HAS to 1hr TF which means you are in 5mins chart flowing with the current in 1hr or you are not against the medium trend.

the loss is not big but one winner offsets three loosers sometimes and add profit and you may have 3 winners at a row. look at EU for this month on 5min STF and 15min TTF you will be glad you came across this application of HAS mtf.

NO BETTER FILTER THAN HIGHER TF believe me.

If you are scared of the BTS many trades please pick 1 or 2 pairs as Don advised and use this same application, keep your size proportional to your acct size and you will make profit RANGE or TREND

GVC,

Its not just the bomb on BTS alone, apply this method to any single pairs and see the potentials also. I trade EU 5min same way, go to your charts and take a look at the past months on EU 5min STF and 15min TTS. lots of trades (winners) lots of pips, to add another thing is to miss the early entry on the big moves

today its been short short buys and sells but with the accountprotectEA set well you will save some pips leakages, you cant do BTS without that script and with good calculation of the gap between its locking point and current price

this is 5min chart its choppy I am sure it will be steady in 15min chart, any one doing 15min? show it lets see.

Here's the 15 minute chart. Not trading it yet, but might hop on the next downswing, to catch the slow upswing movement.

The slow upswing is starting to get confirmed by the loss of strength of the downswing in the 1hr chart.

The trend for the year has been a general upswing, so this might be a good time to put a long-term buy basket on? Thoughts?

I would have almost netted the same amount of pips today if I had paid attention to the buy, look at it in 15min STF - 60min TTF, the buy kept progressing as if its not going anywhere, but see where we are now. Perfect BTS SWING trading. out of sell then buy.

All you need with this is:
-Just trust the system
-Pick a TF and get married to it
-Don't mixed anything with it, it will short-change you
-Demo till your confidence is strong, then
-Just do it.

Yes, I have to admit, after playing with other indicators to see if it improves the charts, I've stripped them back to what you originally suggested.

All I can add is, it's healthy to understand the wider trend within the trend you're trading, and to understand the even wider trend above that.

I always look to trade the wider trend within the timeframe I'm working with, as it works in my favour in the long run. It generates more pips. Maybe one day I will trade the ups and downs, but for now I look to trade the swing that matches the wider trend, as it will usually be the longer swing unless a breakout occurs.

On the 5 minute chart at the moment we've either got a breakout downwards, or we're experiencing a healthy downswing in our up movement. It's hard to call, but looking at the one hour chart, the downswings have been shortening in timespan, and the upswing lengthening. This suggests to me that the upswing is gaining momentum/durability and the safer call over the coming days.

My suggestion would be to keep an eye on the 1 hour chart and when the candlesticks dip below the HAS and start to swing upwards, put in a buy basket, anything earlier than this will get stopped over the next 5-10 hours.

Good luck with your pips.

I am in the impression that the market is currently ranging as my trades are barely moving. Yet you are saying that it is trendy. Perhaps my broker is manipulating the data feed for their own advantage.

I've popped a daily HAS on the daily chart to illustrate the trends we are talking about. If you make a daily chart with a daily HAS it should look similar. There are also trends within the smaller time-frames. You need to get some perspective by looking at the higher the time-frames for your trading time-frame.

The 'swings' are obviously the red into blue into red, rinse and repeat.

Hope this helps illustrate the discussion.

That helps a lot. My daily chart is similar w/ yours. We are in the same boat.

The market is ranging the past week and was wondering there must be something wrong with my broker.

Your thoughts on how you trade the Kosomolate System is highly appreciated.
