I checked these guys out thoroughly before I started trading with them. the first theing I do with any firm where I am putting money, is check with the regulators.

Nadex (North American Derivatives Exchange) is a CFTC regulated exchange. They are designated as a DCM (Designated Contract Market) as well as a DCO (Derivatives Clearing Organization).

Because they are a DCO, they do guarantee/clear each trade. IG may be a market maker on the exchange, but actually, everyone who participates or trades on it, is also a market maker.

I have traded binary options through IG Markets when they were doing them OTC and I can testify, the exchange traded product is absolutely different than what IG Markets used to offer.

I think tradersroom is based in Cyprus - would prefer a US or UK regulated company for peace of mind, but haven't found anyone with a comparable platform yet.

The platform is easy to use, but you do need to double check what you're clicking on as the screen layout can switch when you jump back and forth between different sections.

I requested a withdraw using ACH 1/28/11 and got confirmation from my bank that it arrived 2/10/11. About 9 days, maybe a couple shorter as there was an additional form they wanted sent back after I requested the withdraw.

They made two trade errors in the first 50 trades that I had to bring to their attention to get fixed. They did fix them within 24 hours or so.

I would not have caught one of the errors if I hadn't been keeping track of every trade on a spreadsheet - I would suggest anyone trading with them do the same.

Continuing to trade with them for the present as Nadex platform makes my head hurt trying to figure it out.

Hi. First post - I am a doctor who trades in between patients on an iPad, so binaries are perfect for me.

I had an account with a Cyprus based company. Several pricing errors and then I wanted to withdraw money, always delays etc I wont say which one but it was a big one.

Anyway I now use http://www.optionfire.com as my binary options provider. I visited their office in London and met the guys behind it. They are a white lable of an Australian company, but these guys themselves are FSA regulated. that gives me a great deal of comfort, but i still liked to test. so i deposited £200, traded one, and then requested all my money back. they did it in 24 hours and not a problem. now i have £3000 in the account and i am doing well. i would recommend optionfire no problems. all their prices match up exactly with reuters and they paid me out - what more can i ask?

These brokers are pretty much the same, same layout, same functionality etc...

It all done by company called TradeSmarterHoldings who provide the white label to others, including for most of the cyprus based ones. I wouldnt be suprised if they own them all! Check out the list here,

the blog i'm not sure about. i never read it at all but i do watch the optionfire videos which i know are from them as the man in them is the same man i met in london - richard, he is head of binary options at optionfire binary options.

i am more interested in knowing that they are fsa regulated binary options and also asic binary options. i met them and their compliance officer (i think that is his name) and they are fsa regulated. optionfire do not and have not allowed usa customers, and neither has tradesmarter. i got my brother to check that this is ok (he is lawyer in usa, you know us indians get everywhere!!).

i am more distressed that with the unregulated companies that my money is not paid out to me when i win (i have this problem already) and that because they do business in the usa illegally they will be closed down like the poker sites. my brother says this will happen for sure as the usa wants everyone to be regulated.

next stop for the regulation kings is the binary options and forex i think. i want my money to be with a company that is not at risk. after checking with fsa website and meeting optionfire i am happy.

i am still learning binary options but i am winning over 70% of my time so making money - but just. is there a really good money management technique just for binary options? i was rubbish at forex trading and lose a lot so now i need this one jigsaw part to make good money i think.

Just cuz a company is reg'ed with FSA or ASIC or whatever does not mean they wont try anything shady. Even big banks have been accused of it and get hundreds of complaints a year to the FSA, Barclays with over 276,000 in just 6 months.

You make it seem as if being reg'ed a company wont try anything shady. I guess you also havent heard of VAT fraud? If its a new company, sure its going to play 'nice' at first. All these companies like ioptions, winoptions, optionsfire, etc, all look and act same. They've noticed people saying they are in cyprus and now have got some idiot in FSA to reg them...

Why not stick to BetOnMarkets? They even pay out 100% if right (but have to be over 2-3pips on the right side? Not like 70-80% the others give out?

I lately heard that there are some compliments from traders about the withdrawal , that takes too much time , is that true ? Does the money at the end goes to your bank account or they won't transfer anything !!

If i deposited 1000 $ and i made them like 10,000 $ can i withdrawal all the money ?!

My overall impression of Option Bit, thus far, is that they are trying hard to be legit. This, however, does not mean that I advise you deposit money with them. When I opened up an account with Option Bit they had a rep call me up to see if I had any questions. Also, a friend of mine busted his account with Option Bit (due to HIS mistakes) and Option Bit actually e-mailed him to ask if he wanted to go over trading strategies to help him out. These little things are reassuring, but who knows?

When i started trading binary options i wanted to make a big trade but it kept telling me that tis order can't be done when i reduced the contract size its ok , it was made ,

now i would ask is the contracts depend on traders in the broker only or its a connected market , like FOREX , i mean if i want to open a call contract for eurusd and its size was my hole balance lets say 1000 $ , so it must be contracts on the same broker in th put direction ? or i took my orders from the market itself ?

and if you know a broker that could do that size of contracts plz tell me ,

i had account with betonmarkets - they lied about the price and would not tell where they got their prices from. I checked over 100 expiry with optionfire and all of them were exactly as reuters. they also paid me out when i won. so i am very happy with optionfire.

vat fraud? yes I have heard of that. i have also heard of bank robbery but they are criminal offences. nobody car truly protect against them - but fixing prices as betonmarkets do - i can protect against that for sure.

like it or not i trust the fsa over any other regulation. it has the best reputation. even in india we know they try to make things better. perfect? probably not. better than north cyprus? for sure. 100%.

I use a few platforms some have binary some don't, pm me if you want some ideas...

I have just had a really awful experience with tradersroom and I want to warn other people about them. I picked them because their name came up in a few posts on this site.
Opened a/c with USD250. My 1st contact was asking a basic question (hedging) via live chat during which I was passed to 3 different people and no one even attempted to answer. 10 minutes wasted.
then I made a EURUSD option trade. I couldnt see on the site where my open positions would be so contacted live chat again. Took 15mins & about 4 attempts to get a straightforward answer to the question "where are my open positions".

At this point the person i was chatting with asked whether "i am determined to make money". I knew it sounded fishy but thought I'd see where he was going with it. Then he started saying "we make money when u make money" so "do u want me to train you to make money?" I said how are you going to do that? He said "phone or chat". Then he started saying "can't you just put in another $750 today?" to which I said "sorry, got to go now". He then says "put in another $350".

At this point I just disconnected and went straight to withdrawals with a view to closing my account. In my mind they are nothing but a bucketshop and I am not even sure I will get my $250 back.

Every single site I saw for binary looks the same (a simplistic website, no financial regulation). It is very dirty and I would recommend people steer clear. I trade spot with major brokers and i have never had any issues with them.

I have some ideas for you my man, be in touch...

I got an email about an update to the thread, so read and reply. My luck so far is good, i have now made $8000 from binary options trading with optionfire. there is no problems withdrawing money from them. i make a call, and they send the money. it takes 2-3 days unless i pay for an immediate payment. I do this twice so far and richard, who is the broker, just said no problems and arranged it. so i think not all brokers are the same. optionfire is regulated by the fsa, i would 100% recommend them.

When you talk with a representative again, ask them why they don't allow U.S. residents as customers while some other binary option brokers do.

I get email from you so I call optionfire . optionfire say that US america legal position on binary options is not clear.

they have fsa regulation for binary options and they will not risk this by taking clients that may be illegal even if in usa. they are currently in legal process of making sure that in USA they can do their business without any issues. i think optionfire wishes to be legal everywhere they can. In usa even spread betting is not legal, that is my understanding.

also once again today I make $800, so I withdraw today $1000 with no issues. i think i do better when i have a lot of patients to see as i fool around less and have to think quickly and clearly. i also know another doctor who is trading as well, but his english is not so good as mine so he cannot post.

I do not understand, when I use the platform I succeed achieve very high amounts actually. I am very pleased with their infrastructure ..

like they're just doing their job right. how ever i had no Trouble what so ever withdrawing my earnings.

hey it happen to me too...i only a year and half doing and learning this.. and i've expirence many demo/trial platforms to see the differences...anyway..it was very helpfull to know the optinbit platform..i've started with the begginers platform.. also a REP called me too..it was a really extra help...but its good to know they are accessible
