Hello to everyone,
I have been reading this and the manual THV thread for weeks and I think I have a good grasp of the whole system. I have successfully traded the manual system and am currently forward testing this ea.

It's a pity that this thread has gone dry and support has stopped. There is a lot of information here but it is all scattered. I was hoping to be able to create an index for this thread, but without activity it would be useless.

Well, that's it. Just wanted to post as no one has posted in the last three weeks.

The reason for writing is because I need an ea very simple, put the sl and tp automatically when you open a position that I can put the pips options, and that the broker does not know at what level this position is to say that the ea set a sales order when you reach positions in both sl pips as tp.

Hi, I've already tried the ea and do not like, I prefer open and can close an ea but as I get there will not be responsible for operations only to close them.

Hello everyone,
I have downloaded the latest available version of THV EA v0.8 from post# 1469 and installed it. The first thing I see is a message "The expert advisor has expired". Obviously, the version is too old. Is there any opportunity to get a working up-to-date version ? Thanks.

Hi Toranaga,
Thanks for pointing out this post. I know I read it, but with the amount of entries in this forum, it is difficult to find a particular post unless you can remember a particular keyword. Although post of appreciation (like this one) are important in a project like this, such posts only add noise to the core of the said project.

As a suggestion for anyone considering starting a similar project would be to have two threads, one for the official posts (which would contain the material for the project, including settings and downloads) and another for the community to comment about. This would enable those who get an interest in the project later on (like me) to be able to go through the life of the project without having to read so many thank you posts.

I know that this is rookie question. I've been trading manually THV V4 for a while and like it a lot.

I would like now to try the EA. The problem is that even if it seems correctly loaded into my MT4 I cannot backtest it.

The test runs, but I could not get any results. All zeroes everywhere. It is just like it never opens position...

I am sure it is me that I am not doing something correctly: I red many times the tutorial but could not find any answer to my issue.

Anyone could help?

Claudius, if you have AutoGMTOffset = true it will not show results for backtest. Change it to false and set manual GMT Offset to whatever your broker's time zone is.

Have enough other thing to do, but its sad, seemed to be interesting ($$).

I would like to know what happened with Tread and is he fine ??
When someone leaves from one day to another, its something big..
I hope you're ok, and need only a time off. All luck, hope to read you again..

We need to save activity while Tread returns I have some good results with EA but EA demands perfection

would it help if you'd filter these signals with DSS Bressert ? Could get waves from upper TFs (like M30 & "H2" waves for M5 entries).

have to play around with the values a bit to get good useful waves. When a shorter wave enters top or bottom zone, it's safe to open a trade to the opposite direction if larger wave has entered a safe zone aswell. The bigger wave is a pretty good trend indicator/filter. When it's still clearly going up, it's safe to buy...
