a market order should be executed immediately even allowed some slippages(be set to 1-3pips),but should not be delay executed for some secs.

specially the MT4 platform,
I have high hopes for the new web platform though,
this shows it's going the right way and thats good.
and also being able to deposit with creditcards,
it's going forward, LOOKS GOOD

It has nothing to so with my connection. If it was the problem I would have gaps on all pairs. The last time I had this problem I called support and they said that my stop order sat on the market for 24 seconds after being triggered amd then it was executed at a big loss after a big gap. He said sorry it happened but not our problem.

Well, I guess if one person said it on a board, it must be true. Of course we don’t intentionally make Meta work badly, as smittens4212 said, what would be the point? It’s 8 year old software that we can’t recode, so the other post that you referenced is also incorrect…no one here at MBT is coding MT4. And regarding your earlier post, I ask people to send me their account details in private so that I can look at issues that they might have. I suppose you would prefer if they post their real names and account numbers for all to read?

Show me the post where I said you intentionally made MT4 badly? Never said that. Smitten4212 said that not me. I guess if one of the cheerleaders says it, it must be true, right? This thread is about the cheerleaders misquoting what anybody that has an issue writes. And the worst part is that you condone and encourage that type of behavior. Not what a company rep should be involved in.

There is nothing wrong with the way MT4 is coded by MetaQuotes. It actually is a bug free program. What is wrong is the way MBTrading implements MT4.

People having issues obviously would not post their account no. or real name on a public board, but they absolutely have the right and should be allowed to post the problems that they have without being muted and harrassed.

I just started trading the MT4 platform with MB and noticed I'm always getting filled 2-5 pips past my order price. Pending orders are getting me in a little closer to my desired price but still not the execution I'm used to with another broker. This happens even when there is no news. Yesterday I waited a good 10 seconds to get a market order filled around 10:00 EST with no news in sight. I've already heard the excuse about MB being an ECN. My question is how do you guys cope with this. Is there a better way to place an order. I realize pending orders are better. I'm considering the desktop pro platform. Is the execution time any faster with that platform compared to MT4? thank you

Execution is the same for both platforms, but there is no reason you should experience what you have described. Please email me your acct # so we can look closer.

You can put Limits on your fills in Desktop Pro to control slippage. MT4 doesn't allow this.

Of course that should not happen, and I’d like to see it. Always is a strong word.

First of all, on a Pending Limit order, you can’t get filled past your price.

On a Pending Stop order, then sure, you could get some slippage on some orders depending on the market at the time, but it shouldn’t be all orders and it certainly shouldn’t be 2-5 pips every time. You said in your post “up to 1.3 pips.” OK, so if that means that sometimes you get filled right about at the number and you’ve seen fills in some cases up to 1.3 pips past the stop, I could accept that. But that isn’t what he said at all. He said “2-5 pips” and “always.”

I'm assuming your pending orders are stop orders and those are getting slipped. Stop order by definition is a market order that may/may not execute at the trigger price. This is true and any market for any instrument regardless of executing broker.
