I want to make a Poll regarding wake up in morning. In the beginning I found that those traders wake up early, they can trade better.

I wake up early in the morning. arround at 5 a.m

usually 8:30am-9:00am EST
in my office, ready to trade, logged in, 9:45am EST.

I have a part-time job which sometimes keeps me late
into the previous evening...can be 11:30pm-12:00am.

In Islam Fajr (pray early morning before sun rise) is nessesary to all muslims.

One hadith:

Uthman bin `Affan (Radhiallaho anha) reported:

I heard the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) saying:

"One who performs `Isha' (Night Prayer) prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night. And one who performs the Fajr (Morning Prayer) prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat the whole night.''

lol bro after fajr no sleep

most of the time i trade asia and stay up till franky london the only time to sleep is after NY close about 3h and a nap 3h after london
in jordan time now 8:15 pm

I dont know your country timing.

But here, after fajr i got tokyo/london and new york also.

and sleep before 1 or 2 hour closing new york.

I depends on how abreast you want to be of the overnight trade happenings,
news results, and news coming for the day.

So FX NY session starts at 8:00 am - one might wake up anywhere from 5 to 7.

However, market doesn't start moving sometimes until stocks open in US at 930 AM EST.

Now on the other hand sometimes market has blown it's whole load between 8 and 10 am and you can stop trading for day.

Also depends on what type of trader you are .

Long term position traders may only look at charts once a day for an hour or so.

If your targets are +500 pips you don't need to "monitor the monitors" all day long.

I trade based on price action. so I only look at the market when the 4hr and daily candles are closing, this is 10am, 2pm, 6pm, and 10pm UK time.

Apart from this i dont really look at charts unless im at a lose end.

Im not an early riser, often not up untill 9am

I get up at 4:45am, load up my charts and wait for NY open which is at 5am my time. Trade for couple hours and I'm done.

Wake up at 8:30, arrive at work ready to trade by 9.

10 A.M local time. (Pakistan)

Which is 2hrs before London open.

I live in CA. So to trade NY open I have to wake at 4am. Was rough at first but I'm used to it now.

I'm an End of Day trader. My trading day starts at the end of NY session.

I spend no more than 10 minutes going over the market and placing stop/limit order in anticipation of what may occur during the next 24 hours.

From there, close my trading platform and charting app, resume my life of rest and relaxation.

Rinse and repeat until Friday .... I usually don't trade Fridays.

I still get up at 8 a.m. so I can run errands etc.
