DislikedI'm an End of Day trader. My trading day starts at the end of NY session.
I spend no more than 10 minutes going over the market and placing stop/limit order in anticipation of what may occur during the next 24 hours.
From there, close my trading platform and charting app, resume my life of rest and relaxation.
Rinse and repeat until Friday .... I usually don't trade Fridays.Ignored
Yes you are right.
Success = Discipline + Patience
Without discipline in trading and in our life we can not achieve Goals.
Personal life also matter your trading skills, if your daily life disturb than it's difficult to take nice decisions.
I believe in Forex (as my experience) opportunities always in corner, depends on your ability to find out. Trading timing role is important, but not necessary.

DislikedI depends on how abreast you want to be of the overnight trade happenings,
news results, and news coming for the day.
So FX NY session starts at 8:00 am - one might wake up anywhere from 5 to 7.
However, market doesn't start moving sometimes until stocks open in US at 930 AM EST.
Now on the other hand sometimes market has blown it's whole load between 8 and 10 am and you can stop trading for day.
Also depends on what type of trader you are .
Long term position traders may only look at charts once a day for an hour or so.

DislikedUsually I wake up about 8am. However, according to my system I might need to wake just before 5am to enter a trade. Fortunately those early mornings are very rare. Having said that though, about a month ago I had to wake up 3 mornings in a row at that time . And to rub salt into the wound, I didn't even have the opportunity to enter a single trade!Ignored

There is no another point of view that, Forex trader needed mind power/ concentration power. Successful Forex trader need power full "mind power" for solving problems or taking better decision on time.
And whom wake up early there mind is at its clearest and most well-suited to focus or enter any trade.

DislikedI think your poll is a bit useless. Everybody lives in a different time-zone. You would have to adjust your poll to a specific time-zone like gmt.
Or you just ask how many hours before london session you wake up or whatever. But just letting vote people on when they get up without including a time-zone as a reference point is completely meaningless.Ignored

DislikedI think you missed the point of the poll. It's about how sleep patterns in one's local environment affect concentration, etc. It has nothing to do with market hours. I think the OP is trying to figure out things like whether or not "morning people" or "night people" are more successful, etc.Ignored
