Hi , i dont care about Delta L2 cuz i have access to CME level 2 , but maybe i use Delta L2 to offer the bid and ask orders to earn some spread ( scalping ) its difficult but with TA and some patience it can be done ...

At the moment (Sunday morning) the L2 spread for Gold is (closed on Friday at) $0.65 but seeing as L2 gives you variable spreads this, of course, changes throughout the trading day.

The fixed spread for Gold is $0.80.

Has anyone used Debit card to fund money into Deltastock account. Is there any other broker who accepts Debit cards for deposit/withdraw money.

When I was checking fund processing method, i got to see only Credit Card option in the form. Please see attached image. And on the site it was described as Credit or Debit card. I hope in process, further they might accepts the Debit card.

Sorry: I NOW understand what you were asking.

If must be one of the 'newer' type debit cards. When I say 'newer' I mean it has to be one of those debit cards with the VISA or MasterCard HOLOGRAM on it, an EMBOSSED expiry date, and a CVV number at the back. Then you simply use the credit card option (in exactly the same way as you would use a credit card).

Some of the older type debit cards do NOT have the VISA or MasterCard HOLOGRAM but only a printed logo and no (embossed) expiry date. Those do not work (not on the Internet AT ALL let alone with Deltastock).

And as a matter of interest for others: be very careful with (do not use) these pre-paid debit cards with ANY broker UNLESS the broker has a DIRECT arrangment with the company or payment processor that is offering the pre-paid debit card. Two examples are Payoneer and Neteller (and there are others). The reason being that the company or payment processor will REJECT THE DEPOSIT because it is not processed via their usual 'card loading' options (and has much to do with anti-money laundering legislation). There are a few brokers that offer pre-paid debit cards that are 'linked' to your trading account but let me warn you that the fees are HIGH and in some cases you have to actually PAY for the card itself. Withdrawals periods are no shorter or no longer with these pre-paid debit cards than is the case of a 'normal' debit (or credit) cards (some brokers create the 'illusion' that because they offer a trading account with a pre-paid debit card 'linked' to your trading account that it's as good as having an ATM 'at your fingertips' with IMMEDIATE access to your funds and this is NOT the case i.e. the usual withdrawal process and procedures still apply). While using these cards will work fine for depositing funds the problem arises when withdrawing funds from your trading account to these cards unless, as noted above, the broker has a DIRECT arrangment with the company or payment processor.

Ahhh... Maybe but just think of the greate service etc. that you're getting for those fees!!! LOL!!

On a serious note regarding the fees though: I cannot comment i.e. I've really only ever traded with Deltastock so I'm in no position to comment or compare. Also: I trade mainly CFDs (on stocks, indices, ETFs, and commodities) and very little FOREX so the fees I'm paying are different anyway.

Regarding the API:


I don't know if this thread (link below) will mean anything to you i.e. I'm no expert on the subject (as you'll be able to see from the thread). I only code in C# for Deltastock's platform but I did try to help a guy with the API and Java and we eventually got it all sorted out and working (although I've not had the privilege of seeing his completed 'system').

All of the above being said and before my only NOW, of late, OBVIOUS 'vested interest' in Deltastock: as a TRADER I can only tell you that they're a good, honest, and reliable broker. As I said: whether they're 'expensive' or not I've never bothered to make any comparisons i.e. when I started trading I went through my fair share of 'bucketshop brokers' (not knowing what a 'bucketshop broker' WAS at the time) and had I not stumbled across Deltastock I probably would have given up after my experiences with these 'bucketshop brokers' so I've kind of worked on the basis for the last five or six years or so of 'do not fix something that ain't broke' even IF it's 'costing' me.

Anyway: you seem to have 'been around' a while. Keep in touch and obviously if I can help you in any way (with Deltastock or anything else) let me know.

Interactive Brokers charges $20/million
Dukascopy charges about $18/million with account of 10k and using an introduing agent. (cheaper when you have a large account)

I quite like the idea of the brokers they have in the list but with $30/million it is quite expensive.

The api you described is javascript. I think their IT manager needs a slap as by choosing the technology they have they forget about the unix/mac people.

For example Interactive Brokers supports : C , java and a lot of others which run on unix.(and windows)
Dukascopy support JAVA which also runs on unix and windows

All they have to do is change their commission to 15$/million and introduce some proper api and the money will come rolling in

Do NOT EVEN TALK to me about computers today!!! LOL!!! I managed to 'wipe out' my main workstation yesterday and as I sit here today I'm STILL busy re-installing everything!!! LOL!!! I've always wanted a Bloomberg Professional Terminal and I noticed this last week that the Bloomberg Professional SOFTWARE is now downloadable (and a trial is available) i.e. you don't need to purchase / rent the hardware from them as WELL as the software. So of COURSE: I downloaded it, installed, and activated the trial. All I can say is WOW!!! But to be honest: it's fantastic but there's just WAY too much information available (certainly too much for a lowly equities and commodities trader like me). Put it this way: the LITTLE bit of additional information that I'm after is nothing more than realtime volume of the major cash indices and futures and I cannot justify $1 900 PER MONTH (which is what Bloomberg Professional costs with or without the hardware) for that type of information. But there's not doubt in my mind that for big fund managers etc. it's truly extremely FANTASTIC but as I say I just cannot justify the cost. ANYWAY: I decided to uninstall it and somehow the uninstallation got 'botched up' and, well, long story short (well SHORTER) my PC just kept rebooting itself on startup after I'd uninstalled this lot!!! So my advice to anyone that wants the 'Rolls Royce' of financial software (it really is let me tell you): buy the Bloomberg Professional Terminal (hardware and software) and use it ONLY for that purpose and NOTHING else!!! LOL!!!

Anyway: I'll most certainly pass on the information to the IT Manager!!! LOL!!!

I have opened a demo account with Delta Stock. I found their level 2 model for FX is very interesting.

I remember some other brokers who claim to be exchange pools are, not limited to, MBT, LMAX. However, their spreads can't beat Delta's. Delta's spreads are quite narrow even during quiet times, because they have some big players like Dukas, City, IB and FXCM as liqudity providers. The only thing as Dale mentioned before, their 30 base currency commission are higher than others, esp when trading none USD based pairs like GBP/JPY or GBP/CHF, EUR/USD, EUR/JPY etc.

I wish I could trade the level 2 with automated system. I need to figure out if their API can do that. Their MT4 bridge can only handle fixed spreads with Delta Trading software.

Come to think of it: don't you work in Customer Service at Deltastock AD (having one of those most beautiful Bulgarian names not to mention 'the looks')??? LOL!!! Only joking OBVIOUSLY. On the other hand: IF you do then you know who I am so email me (with a picture of course)!!! LOL!!!

Alright (and in a 'crass attempt' to 'get serious' here i.e. until next week Monday it's STILL 'the silly season' in my opinion) I got my 'ar*e' 'gapped open' on Tuesday when the US Futures opened and spent the next 48 hours JUST to 'get back to where I was' on Friday night last week BUT, 'by hook or by crook', I 'got there', although given the 'methods' employed it's not something I can be proud of as a trader let me tell you!!!

And by the way: PLEASE tell me that you ('iLove') are a woman. Otherwise I've just 'shot' any credibility that I may have had to 'smithereens'!!! LOL!!!

So SERIOUSLY now:

You're not wrong. Deltastock offers (through their L2 module) 'the lowest of low' spreads. No question about that. Yes: you must remember that you pay commissions but such commissions are nowhere NEAR what the cost of a fixed spread would be (although, as I'm sure you know, via Delta Trading, you have the option to trade using either fixed OR variable spreads).

Regarding the API: it's currently being updated (as is Delta Trading). Although the L2 functions are SHOWN in the API with a COM browser they are not functional AS YET (but trust me when I say that they will be functional very soon).

And thank you for the kind words (at least that's how I MYSELF interpreted them anyway). On some Spot FOREX pairs: NO the fixed spread are NOT 'the greatest'. On the other hand though: at least you don't have to worry about the broker 'fleecing' you by manipulating the spreads. Alright: that's easy for me to say because my trading system(s) use HUGE stops but, in the four or so years that I've been 'dealing' (no pun intended) with Deltastock, I've heard NO complaints from my 'introduced clients'. That must 'count for something'.

But I'm a bit more 'involved' with them now so any questions that you may have or if you require any assistance at all then please do contact me. Also: there are some custom trading systems available for both Delta Trading and Deltastock MetaTrader which I trade (obviously profitably otherwise I wouldn't be telling you this for sure). My input and advice and 'helping hand' comes at 'no charge'. YES: it would be nice if you opened a live trading account at Deltastock. You won't be sorry if you do. If, on the other hand, you decide to go with another broker, then just don't 'blame me' or my trading systems is all.

I trade range, not very small profit + high frequency (not a scalper) and I don't trade news. Therefore higher commission isn't a big deal for me. I watched their Level 2 Euro spread after NFP early on, nothing unusual, still 0-0.5 pip most of time. To be honest, I was busy watching MBT system at news announcement and overlooked Delta Stock system.


Look forward to knowing more about Delta Stock. Playing with the demo account now.

Ahhh GEEZ!!! I 'walked into that one' didn't I!!! LOL!!!

Yes: it's 'forthcoming' BUT I have to ask you a question. WHY Deltastock MetaTrader??? The only possible reason I could think of for somebody wanting to use DeltaStock MetaTrader (Bridge) is for MetaTrader EAs. Otherwise: you're REALLY 'missing out' by not trading with Delta Trading.

And as a 'kind offer' (now that I've TOTALLY 'thrown my name away'): if the above IS the case and your EA is not TOO complicated and 'cumbersome' I'm sure I can get somebody to code your system so that you don't require DeltaStock MetaTrader or the DeltaStock MetaTrader Bridge (at no cost to you). That being said: if this IS the case then you're 'talking' to the 'unconverted'. I don't believe that EA's can 'stand the test of time'. But again: 'that is just me' (although I've spent a good few years researching the subject to be honest).

Anyway: whatever assistance you may need at any time (EVEN ALTHOUGH you're not Britney Spears) I'm only too happy to help MAINLY because 'iLove' this business (more than Britney Spears)!!! LOL!!!

My EA on MT4 is really simple. Appreciate your offer. I might just try it myself. At the moment, is it possible just code within Delta Trading software for automated trading? Does Delta Trading have that function or programing language like MT4 has?

Oh well. There goes MY 'wishful thinking'!!! LOL!!

No: Delta Trading allows you to create your own INDICATORS using a 'subset' of C#. But if you want to create what would be the EQUIVALENT of a MetaTrader EA then you'd need some programming experience in any of the Microsoft .NET compatible languages (like Visual C# as an example) and your 'EA' would be coded 'outside' of Delta Trading using the API as an interface.

But really: 'automated trading' eventually 'falls over'. Look at the 'latest and greatest FAD' i.e. FapTurbo for MetaTrader??? It's (from what I gather on other forums that I frequent) CONSTANTLY being 'tweaked' and 'optimised'. That's not a trading system that can 'hold its own'. Just 'food for thought' is all. The BIGGEST problem with automated trading systems (as I see it) is that it's very easy to 'curve fit' them or 'optimise' them for a given period. There is, unfortunately, only ONE thing that 'counts' and that is PRICE. And that you cannot 'predict' nor 'curve fit'.

Just my $100 worth.

But: if you're confident in your automated trading system then I'll help you out (or get someone else to help you out) as best I can.

I don't know why but something has been bugging me about this discussion and I think I've realised what it is now.

Just to be clear:

The L2 functions in the API even WHEN implemented will still only work with Delta Trading. In other words: whether they are functional or not and you're going to trade using Deltastock MetaTrader via the Delta Trading MetaTrader Bridge: you're still not going to be able to use them. Does that make sense??? Another way of putting it: there IS no L2 module in Deltastock MetaTrader (and to the best onf my current knowledge it's 'not on the cards' either).

Anyway: that was just to clear up any possible misunderstanding (maybe of mine only i.e. you may already have figured the above out).
