Do you buy Forex Products?

Hello, I would like to know your opinion. Do you spend any money on Forex stuff: books, strategies, EAs, signal services, trading rooms or trading seminars or you use only free stuff and invest money only to your account.

I bought couple of trading books. It was good investment.

For books I either go to the university library or try finding them on the Internet. I also have free access to most academic journals. Private forums are often too expensive for me, and I'd never purchase a blackbox EA or signal service.

I don't think that good stuff can be cheap or free. So I ready to pay for good book or good service.

I pay for feed and analysis programs.

I paid for a good course. They do exist out there. You gotta know how to pick out the good teachers and not. Just like how you do it in FF.

Some years ago I bought a technical system from a professional trader. I remember I spent almost 1 year following him and his system before I made the decision since the investment was 4-digit.

The rule of thumb when you are looking into buying system/service:
- Does he/here trade it herself LIVE for a living?
- Past performance

No on both question and you usually have a cheap service and the results are in most cases useless too. If both question are "yes" and can be documented, be prepared to dig deep on your pocket. All this is of course my experience.

Same goes for data feed. MT4 are ok for beginners. Proper feed doesn't need to cost more than 50-200$/month.

I took also some good Webinars. My latest Webinar was on forexperteam.com. Quit helpfull all of them.

You will surely not be perfect with all books ea systems, but u will surely learn atleast something from them

And learning never pains

The only Forex product I've purchased is ForexTester. Don't plan on purchasing anything beyond that.

I've bought a couple trading books but those were about trading in general, not specific to Forex.

The only good book out there, in my opinion, on FX trading is: "Day Trading the Currency Market" by Kathy Lien.

Expert anything are mostly scams.
