For anyone still needing faith in this system take a look at my trades over the last 3 weeks, there has been 1 maybe 2 losers and the majority i called before or as the trade happened.

You have proof there that all you need to do is follow the rules and practice this method and you will become profitable.

Unfortunately i wont be able to post the trades anymore as off to do my summer job but will still pop in when i can. Hope i have helped some of you to see the light.
Happy Trading!

Well done. Your charts have been a big help. All the best for the summer. Ray

Thanks Div, the reason I ask is bc some pairs are either at an all time high/low or in an area where there is nothing in the vicinity to give S/R confluence. Just wanted to know if you take those.

Also, I just added this CCI histogram tonight and I'm not exactly sure I have the settings right. The one I have is for the FXCM Marketscope platform since I dont have Metatrader. It's called Woodie CCI and it has settings for the fast and slow CCI, I have them both set to 8 but should they be set to different intervals?

Thanks for this information i just loaded this indicator myself... And from what i can see, itīs giving the same values of the mt4 indicator (or normal cci), this is the equivalent of the mt4 retfinder... But please check for yourself

dn4,
What do you have your RSI(8) applied to? I'm applying mine to high (when comparing higher highs) and low when comparing lower lows. So looking at the HH's on your chart, I didn't have divergence where you started your 123. Glad you hit TP though.

Hey Tooth....

my rsi is always applied to close which is obviously why yours is slightly different.

Hey d4n,
When you use applied to close, your higher highs in price will sometimes not line up with peaks in RSI. Same thing with the lower lows. The're off by 1 candle. Not saying you use the wrong setting, just wondering if you ever noticed that? I'd like to know what Divergence uses. Hey, you can trade my money any day.

Hi All,

I am in the process of practising this system and wanted some clarification on some of the setups I saw today during the US session.

In both cases the last major swing was broken creating a lower low, then a pull back occurred and the subsequent trigger.

Am I looking at things properly here?

I am testing it like this with ForexTester and so far in January of this year I have had 10 winners and 1 loser and I am only up to the middle of the month. Is this the type of performance I should expect?

I look forward to your comments.

Thanks

Vincent

Vincent,
Both look like valid entries. The only thing I'd say is they were late in the session so more risky. I won't usually enter a trade any later than around 11:00- 11:20 EST and try to be out of it by 12:00. As for results, Divergence said he made 22 trades one month and all for winners. Of course he's a real pro at taking just the very best setups. dn4 finds several trades a day some days and has a very high win rate. I'm happy with one good setup a day trading 1% of my account. I may only get 2-3 trades per week(EUR/USD) trading from 8am to 12 noon EST. You're going at this in a good way with the tester. Good luck

That chart looked like a Harmonic Pattern set-up in the Butterfly Category to my eye.

But, I'm just one guy whistling in the dark.

This is the trade that is the easiest to do
it seems as if every one is set on the 123 trade
but the pullback is the easiest

I had 3 today in the NY session

Stay with it
this is the essence of good trading
