i was observing this system from few months and watched many videos about it then i gave up, although i think it is one of the successful indicators, although they are rare!

Already test it on demo and my friend's real accounts on a higher timeframe.

It has the potential to produce consistent profit.

When using the system, I include the zig-zag pointer indicator. Sometimes I used the zigzag candle as stop.

They aren't rare, they are all over the net.

Don't give up, you will get it if you invest enough time to read the thread.

THV isn't just an indicator, its a method and well discribed here.

Hi everybody!

Since I saw Cobra's post I thought I would post too.

I have been trading stocks alot lately. Better sleep hours for me. I did a few Euro trades too, when they looked good during NY session. I wish an MT4 broker had better stock feeds. In the meantime I have to use replacement indicators.

I hope all is going well with you traders. Good to see the team is still going strong.

hello ,
i am new forex trader for the last 3 months , working on demo most of the time
i was reading strategies , and when i read the thv actually i am impressed

my question since i cant read the whole 1485 page
in the first page i see the cobra's thread has been updated in 2010 aug
so the information in page 1 is enough for me to start testing this method or there is other posts to read
if there is important updates or updated tools or so i hope if someone following the thread from the beginning to post the links for the important replies that can help me improve

You have what you need on Page 1. Once you've practiced and digested all that then you'll know what you need to ask.

Hello, trying to set up the thv on my chart , i downloaded the suggested 3 downloads on first page manual and options - v3 and v4
in the v4 zip file there is vh4 .exe when i installed it alot of indicators show up in the custom indicators
so i have a few questions here :
is this indicators enough because i can find some indicators in v3 file and i dont know if they are duplicate or hte v4 is the updated version from them
i also in v4 found like 9 templates which 1 is the main one to use

and the main template does it has all indicators in or i have to add the indicators as well after i set up the template

i know where to copy the ex4 and tpl files and sounds and all this kinda stuff
but my experience with mt4 is about 2-3weeks so be patient please with me

Off the THV topic but I thought it may be of interest to some.

As an experiment, for the last 6 months I have been following and analyzing (but not trading) the predictions of the staff economists at 3 major international banks for the monthly directions and trading ranges of the four major pairs. I have also been analysing the trade recommendatrions of the analysts at a major international FX broker.

I found that they were wrong consistently. Not just a little wrong but spectacularly wrong. Also, the broker's analysts are very sneaky. They publish their recommendations and those that are correct get left in print for a while and are trumpeted but the those that are wrong are frequently deleted at once without comment.

I acknowledge that in the last six months the world has seen more than the usual number of world shaking events (Japan, the Middle East, the US and the Antipodes) and that six months isn't very long in the FX world but it reinforces the view that one should trade what one sees and not what one thinks or reads.

I am very very interested in the application cobraforex, but I find it difficult to install, and beg an explanation for how to use cobraforex.
please help because I have 3 years to learn forex, with assistance, technical analysis, fundamental analysis and the last I have not tried this cobraforex application.

I have installed the MTF Trix indicator, and I have to say it is a huge help in finding the right trading possibilities.
Another plus is that you can backtest signals that you missed.
I think the M1 works really well with the M5 MTF trix and M15 MTF trix, as well as the M5 and M15 Cloud Histo.
This is how I have set it up now and am quite happy with it. Will post some trades next week with it.

Thank you THV team specially Cobra and Miss Pips for this really great system.

Just made 20 pips on EurUsd. I could've easily made 15 pips more but I flinched! Because its Easter Monday and market just started (Early Sydney sesson).

You asking the wrong way. You should ask how many pips someone makes. With the same 10 pips you can make $1 or $1000, or more... I am a full time trader using a simplified version of THV system and average 200 pips a month.
