Hi all, i am long time silent reader. joined yesterday as i thought i might put my half cents in !!. i am still short. waitign to take another short at 1.0814 to average at 1.0534. another car parked at 1.11. i am prepare to hold teh position for long term if needed. i cnat just get out now down more than few grands. today or tomorrow if not next months the aud will slide back to 0.98. my understanding if something happens to us or DJI the aud will take a fre fall.
But honestly I am a bit stressed loosing thousunds a day !!

Ummm..No.. The flight to US dollar safety is finished. Hence thats why the CB's are holding up two fingers to it..
On top of that the cost of carry is expensive..
Good luck you will need plenty of it

I am in the same boat my friend definately stressed at present but waiting for the big fall

I would like to ask you to take care but I know it wouldn't matter. You seem determined, like so many traders, to stick to positions and pray for a massive turn of tide. I just hope you stick steadfastly to your stop losses and not just pray for a "big drop". The AUS/USD has claimed many bears for the last few months. I have always refrained fighting against the carry traders and I am so thankful I didn't in this case.

hi all, if we take a look at the historical charts AUD ralied max of 30 cents against greenbacks and they had a correction. it ralied from 0.81 with out a corrections. add 30 cents that is 1.11. so i think correction is not that far.

1.085 to 1.088 AUDUSD, I believe there is a significant retracement area, might be worth watching.

Good PPI for the AUD seems to have encouraged todays rally...
