Closed half of the trade netting 150pips. Other half moved to 100 pips from current levels

The nzdusd was the strongest last trading week. This pair has gone up for 20 straight days. Beyond belief!

Anyway eurcad tried to attack the 1.4000 level and was beaten back. We have new PIGS fears coming into play

euraud is threatening a breakdown as we speak. Fundamentals have cone into play and it appears the euro will weaken from here against the aussie. It is the same against the £ today.

As per the euraud. Price is now sitting on the 100sma
stoch has turned down
Fundamentals are poor
just sitting on monthly low @1.3566.

I missed a good entry @1.3650 today. But will wait to see if the monthly low is broken at the close of the candle to get on boart. All the targets on the downside (support) have been marked on the chart but this could run and run...

I agree that aidnzd is a buy as well as we have a really strong candle. the nzd till date enjoyed 20 straight days of positive closes so any unwinding will lead to more fron the nzd. The aussie in that time also went up strongly but not as much as the nzd hence the audnzd chart. Below 3180 is the ideal stop but if it is too far from price.... Also I have a spread of 15 on my terminal!

I also agree with you on the audusd short, let me add nzdusd as well and audcad as well. They might all be short term retracements though tradeable

please note that the appearance of divergence is not enough to take a trade. However it is warning of a top.

Sugar looks like a sweet short , I was also noticing BAL, the cotton ETF had dropped below 100 with a negative chaikin flow, could be time ?

Welcome to the thread. Thanks for putting cotton on the radar. God knows this commodity is due for some retracing.

This thread is all about looking for trades that do require lots of monitoring i.e longer timeframe trend-following trades.

it appears the yen crosses are about to turn up again. we have had a pullback in this pair and we might be reverting to the trend again. Risk aversion is decreasing

price bounced off the 100sma
stoch has freshly turned up
elliottwise we might be starting a wave 5 after a deep wave 4 retracement
This means it should carry to new highs
Please be warned that I only have rudimentary elliotwave knowledge and even I dont use it as a signal. just as a side issue
price formed an inside bar (and a hammer)

Cotton. Clearing 166 to the downside should bring some serious price travel to the downside. Already we are breaking trendlines left right and centre

Can I add crude oil to the mix?

Well done on all the above trades. And Yes Patience is the required skill. I have been in and out of all the above profitable except the usdmxn

Can one still go long silver at this time???

I have been long 4-6 lots on silver since 2/16 taking several off and adding as we had pull backs in the trend. I added to my position 4 days ago. I would wait for another pull back which will probably come around the 50 mark or so. Usually a breather in there somewhere after a run like this on gold and silver. The USD/MXN is making new lows as we speak and is very bearish. The eur/Gpb might not move much so I would watch it carefully. I usually don't trade that pair but when I see a setup I usually Trade. Excellent Journal here.

Closed for 69pips. Weakness coming into the market. Still believe in the overall northward direction of the yen pairs so will be looking to get in lower

Shame I cant get usdmxn on my alpari terminal. I love trending markets

Will wait for that breather to get on board. I think that breather for silver might be close to a collapse though.
