DislikedHave a great trip home. I am looking forward to the day I can catch up with you. Still maybe mid may.Ignored
DislikedTrying something new here...will be reporting when I open trades and follow-up with a close early report to keep myself accountable. Maybe making a post here that I'm closing a trade down early will make me think twice about it...Ignored

DislikedStill in line with riding to SL/TP, no early closes. Two positions on now, I want to keep myself accountable.
CheersIgnored
DislikedOne early close. 1% away from a 5% target, resist coming up across the board. Whether I'm justifying this because it's a very green trade (fear) or because of true red flags popping up, I'm not sure...Ignored

DislikedSecond position taken today was closed early per US & UK bank closes tomorrow...obviously don't want to get stuck in a position over the long weekend.Ignored
DislikedThe "banks" are closed, but is your broker? If not, you should still be able to manage trades until Friday evening..no?
My broker's hours are the same so I can let my EJ ride until Friday at 4:00 EST if I choose.Ignored
DislikedGood call. It appears Oanda is still open and will remain open until normal closing hours tomorrow, so I could have left that position on. But with US & UK banks closed, idk...it was a EUR/GBP long circa 87.9
Japanese banks open today? Hmmmm...
Have a good weekend man, best to you with that EJ short. Nice workIgnored

DislikedFunny you mention that buddy. Right after posting here about the banks and broker, and thinking about your comments, I took a look at things and decided to close that short. I just wanted to get on with my weekend and not have to think about that trade.
I closed it at 119.21 for a mear 10 pip gain. This is the FIRST time laziness ever paid off...
Thanks Buddy and have a GREAT weekend!Ignored
DislikedHi Sam
Tokyo is seeming erratic even.
I think you made a good call closing out that position. 4% gain on 1% risk is great. With this holiday coming up who knows how thin trading could get. Also it could be about time for the USD to grow a pair and who knows what that could do to your EG trade.
Anyway welcome back.
